Two new models will be launched successively, but it is yet to be determined if they will use the new logo

[PCauto] JETOUR officially unveiled its new "JT" logo in Malaysia. The newly launched "JT" logo is cleverly designed to resemble a Chinese character, embodying the subtle meaning of "moving forward."
The JETOUR Traveler G700 plug-in hybrid four-wheel-drive SUV, which debuted in China late last year, was the first to feature this new logo, and two key models for the Malaysian market are also set for launch soon.
Among them, the compact SUV JETOUR Dashing is scheduled to debut in April 2025, followed by the three-row mid-to-large SUV JETOUR VT9, which will officially launch in May. Notably, both new models will be locally assembled (CKD) at the assembly line in Tampoi, Johor, under Berjaya Group's B-Assemblies.
Although the brand has officially announced the adoption of the new "JT" logo, it has not yet been officially confirmed whether the two new models, Dashing and VT9, will simultaneously adopt the new logo.
What has drawn more market attention is the upcoming luxury four-wheel-drive SUV, the Jetour T2. In its previous local preview event in Malaysia, it still used the old logo.
According to Jetour's brand plan, the T2 is expected to adopt the new logo later, but its official release time and the final form of the logo still require further announcements from the brand.
- Can the "progress" connotation of this new "JT" logo successfully translate into market recognition and actual market performance?
- Will the transition between the old and new logos affect consumers' brand recognition?
These questions may take time to find definitive answers.
What is certain, however, is that with the successive launches of new models such as Dashing and VT9, Jetour's brand presence in the Malaysian market will continue to grow, and its "Travel+" brand concept will gain broader visibility.
