Leapmotor C10 first appeared in China this May, and is currently officially previewed in Malaysia, and has previously displayed a right-hand drive model. It is expected that the local release time will be in October this year. Leapmotor C10 is Leapmotor's first global-oriented model.

According to Leapmotor's listing information in China, this car is built based on the "four-leaf clover" central integrated electronic and electrical architecture, offering plug-in hybrid and pure electric two power forms, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and LIDAR, supporting advanced intelligent driving assist. The new car has launched 7 configurations, including 3 plug-in hybrid models, with a price range of 135,800 -165,800 yuan (equivalent to RM 80,000- 97,000); as well as 4 pure-electric models, with a price range of 128,800- 168,800 yuan (equivalent to RM 75,900- 99,500).

For power performance, Leapmotor C10 offers both plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions. The plug-in hybrid version uses the same 1.5-liter Atkinson four-cylinder extend-range engine as the C01 and C11 range-extender versions, with a maximum power of 70 kilowatts, and a maximum power of the driving motor is 170 kilowatts. The peak torque is 320 Newton meters, the official 0-62 mph acceleration time is 7.68 seconds, the maximum speed can reach 170 km/h, and the energy consumption is 5.1 L/100 km.

In terms of endurance, Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a 28.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Under CLTC conditions, the pure electric endurance is 210km. With a full charge and full tank of gas, the WLTC combined endurance mileage is 1020km. Moreover, both the range extender version and the pure electric version support DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. In fast charging mode, it only takes 30 minutes to replenish the SOC battery power from 30% to 80%. At the same time, it also supports a 3.3 kW power output function, which can meet outdoor camping needs.

In terms of vehicle size, the length, width, and height of the Leapmotor C10 are 4739/1900/1680mm, and the wheelbase is 2825mm. For the interior, Leapmotor C10 adopts a new design, which is overall more concise. It is equipped with a 14.6-inch 2.5K suspended control large screen and a 10.25-inch all-liquid crystal dashboard. The steering wheel adopts a double-spoke flat-bottom design, and the physical buttons on it are also optimized. The design style is closer to the Tesla Model 3, but it retains the traditional gear mode and selection lever, and it is not too minimalistic.

Generally speaking, the Leapmotor C10 is a model worth looking forward to. Whether it's the flexible and practical range extender version, or the eco-friendly and efficient pure electric version, Leapmotor C10 can meet the needs of different consumers.
