Provide 1.6T/2.0T engine, new Chery Tiggo 8 PLUS exposed

On May 11, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the declaration diagram of the new Chery Tiggo8 PLUS. The new car has a completely upgraded appearance, and offers two turbocharged engines, 1.6T/2.0T, for consumers to choose from.
2.0T model
In terms of appearance, compared to the current model, the new Tiggo8 PLUS has a brand new design for the front of the car. Its front has a larger air intake grille, and more dot matrix chrome decorations have been added to improve recognition. In addition, the new car also offers another mesh-type front grille for everyone to choose from, which can better meet the diversified needs of consumers.
1.6T model
On the side of the body, it adopts a brand new hidden door handle design, and continues the large-size wheel design. In terms of the size of the car, the new car has a length, width and height of 4730 (4715) /1860/1740mm, and a wheelbase of 2710mm. The new car includes 5-seat and 7-seat versions.
Various grille choices
At the rear of the vehicle, the new Tiggo8 PLUS also offers two rear designs, one of which adopts a more transparent through-tail light design, which shows a stronger sense of science fiction. The other is a more conventional red-bottom through-tail light design.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with 1.6T and 2.0T turbocharged engines, with maximum powers of 145kW and 187kW respectively. The transmission system is expected to continue to match the 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox.
