Official Interior Images of BYD Haishi 07 EV Released, set to Officially Launch at Beijing Auto Show

On April 22, BYD released the official images of its new SUV's interior - the Haishi 07 EV. The new vehicle is positioned as a Compact Executive EV SUV, built on BYD's advanced e-platform 3.0. The design features a fastback-styled exterior, with an overall sporty style. The interior continues BYD's "Oceanic Aesthetics" design style. It's not only simple and luxurious, but also emphasizes on functionality.


Specifically, the Haishi 07 EV's interior adopts a wraparound design, and is equipped with a "floating wing" dashboard, "ocean heart" central control layout, a multi-functional sport steering wheel and a retro-style triangular window, which brings consumers a brand new "Oceanic Aesthetics" visual experience. In terms of intelligence, the new vehicle carries an advanced version of the intelligent cockpit - DiLink 100, and the advanced intelligent driving assistance system - DiPilot 100. It also uses BYD's world-first paddle start method, just a flip on the steering wheel to activate the driving assistance functions.


In terms of interior materials, the Haishi 07 EV's soft interior areas account for more than 80% of the total interior area. It is equipped with a crystal gear lever and incorporates aluminum processing skills. The seats are crafted using ripple quilting and twin stitch craftsmanship, and perforations are designed on the seat cushions and back of the chairs, which provides better riding comfort.
As for the equipment, the Haishi 07 EV is equipped with 50W fast charging, 128-color ambient light, a 12-speaker Dana sound system, a fragrance system with three scents, a panoramic sky-top NFC key, and AR-HUD, among other luxury features. Additionally, all models come standard with 11 safety airbags, a direct tire pressure monitoring system, and driver monitoring assistance settings.

In terms of size, the Haishi 07 EV's dimensions of length, width, and height are 4,830/1,925/1,620mm respectively. The wheelbase is 2,930mm, the overall size is comparable to the BYD Escort Fleet 07, but the wheelbase is 110mm longer.

As for the power, Haishi 07 EV uses pure electric drive and provide three power options for dual-drive and four-drive. The maximum power of the dual-drive models are 170 kilowatts and 230 kilowatts respectively, while the combined power of the four-drive model is 390 kilowatts. Furthermore, Haishi 07 EV will adopt the CTB battery car body integration technology, equipped with a front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, and it is also equipped with a Yun-che C intelligent body damping control system and iTAC intelligent torque control system.
With the arrival of Haishi 07 EV, it will further enrich the BYD series of product matrix, providing more diversified and personalized choices for consumers. The new car will be officially listed at the Beijing Auto Show which opens on April 25th, and the expected price is around 200,000-250,000 RMB.
