Official Pictures of Chery Tiggo 8L Revealed: New Front Face plus Extended Body

Recently, the official pictures of Chery 8L have been released by Chery. The new car is positioned as a midsize SUV, with adjustments on both car body size and modeling design compared to the previous Chery 8. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a power combination of 2.0T engine plus 8AT.

In terms of design, the new Chery 8L has a larger front face air intake grille, with a dot matrix grille design inside, and the edge of the whole center network using chrome trim for package edge. On both sides, there are sharp LED matrix headlights, and LED daytime running lights are used for package edge. And there are air vents at the bottom of both sides, with decorative trims on the outer edge.

The side design is simple, with a through-line waistline stretching from the headlight to the rear end. Additionally, the hidden door handles maintain the overall simplicity of the side, and there is a noticeable corner design at the D-pillar position. According to the previous declaration information, Chery 8L will have 18, 19 and 20-inch wheel hubs.

The rear end has slightly more curved surface design, equipped with through-type LED lamp group, with the brand English set below the lamp group. Lastly, the split design of the dual-outlet exhaust pipe decoration at the bottom of the rear end creates a distinctive visual effect. Lastly, the lengths, widths, heights of Tiggo 8L are 4795/1930/1729 (1741) mm, and the wheelbase is 2770mm.

For the power section, the chery Tiggo 8L will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with the code name SQRF4J20. The maximum power is 187kW, the maximum torque is 390N·m, and it is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Tiggo 8L will also offer the option of choosing between two-wheel and four-wheel drive.
