The all-new generation Lexus ES is reportedly leaked online, with a look similar to Toyota Camry

In the global luxury car market, the Lexus ES has always held a place with its unique charm and stable sales. Although this car has been criticized by some car reviewers for its low configuration, poor performance, and high price, its sales have not been greatly affected by this.
Now, Lexus officials are planning to launch a new generation of ES models. The new car has now applied for the registration of the ES350h, ES350e, and ES500e three car trademarks in overseas markets. The new car is expected to debut as early as the end of this year. It plans to launch it gradually within 2025 and officially launched in 2026. Its main competitors within the same level include the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes Benz E Class, Audi A6, and Volvo S90.
From the previously released new car preview picture, it can be seen that the new generation Lexus ES model has canceled the classic spindle-shaped air intake grille, and boomerang-style LED headlights are still provided on both sides. At the same time, the new car will also provide a multi-horizontal bar-shaped lower grille, and its overall shape design is also highly similar to the Camry model under Toyota.
More importantly, the size of the numbers at the rear often represents the level of vehicle configuration and the quality of performance. Therefore, the ES 500e is expected to become the new flagship model of the Lexus ES series that represents the brand's new height in technology and performance.
According to the product planning, the new generation Lexus ES350h, ES350e, and ES500e are expected to use 2.5L hybrid power engines, single-motor drive, and dual-motor four-wheel drive respectively. The ES500e model will also become the flagship model in this series and it will gradually replace the currently sold ES250, ES350, and ES300h models in the future.
Although the debut of the new Lexus ES is set for 2025, it may not be delivered to consumers until 2026. During this period, we can not only expect upgrades in technology and configuration of the new car, but also feel the deep insight and strategic layout of Lexus brand for the future car market.
It is reported that Lexus plans to provide a pure electric version for each model by 2030 and fully transform into a pure electric vehicle brand by 2035. This strategic transformation not only reflects Lexus's firm commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development, but also heralds a profound change in the luxury car market.
