Subaru's Fastest Mass-Production Vehicle Debuted in New York: 375 HP!

【PCauto】At the New York Auto Show in 2025, Subaru showed its all-new electric SUV Trailseeker, revealing that the vehicle produces 375 horsepower,with the accelerating speed from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 4.4 seconds, making it the fastest model in Subaru's mass-production vehicles.

The Trailseeker is built on Toyota's C-HR+ platform, positioned as a midsize SUV. Drawing partial design inspiration from the Solterra, it features larger dimensions than the Solterra with 211 mm of ground clearance. Its smooth body lines convey off-road capability while ensuring spacious interior room, meeting both daily commuting and off-road needs.

The SUV comes equipped with a dual-motor AWD system, where front and rear axle motors work together, delivering 1,500 kg of towing capacity to handle diverse usage scenarios.

The Trailseeker is equipped with a 74.7kwh lithium-ion battery, delivering an estimated range of 420 kilometers. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a battery preheating system which can ensure charging efficiency in low-temperature environments. Also, it is compatible with NACS (Tesla) charging stations.

The interior control panel is equipped with a 14-inch touch screen, which is the largest central control screen size ever used by Subaru. The control panel also adopt standard configurations including dual wireless smartphone charging pads, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The front row is equipped with two 15W inductive chargers, convenient for drivers and passengers to charge at any time.

Trailseeker is equipped with the X - Mode driving mode system, including modes like snow/soil, deep snow/mud. Combined with the function of hill descent control, the vehicle ensures driving safety on rough roads.

In terms of driving safety, Trailseeker is fully equipped with the EyeSight kit, including pre-collision braking, blind spot monitoring, front cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, traffic congestion assistance, etc., to fully ensure driving safety.

It is reported that the mass-production version of this vehicle is expected to be launched in 2026, entering the market as a 2026 model, with a starting price of about 30,000 US dollars.More detailed specifications and price will be announced in early 2026.
