Recently, a series of interior spy photos of Kia's new all-electric sedan EV4 has attracted widespread attention on the internet. As an important part of Kia's electrification strategy, the new car is expected to officially debut in mid-2025 and will enter overseas markets in 2026. According to the current information, the EV4 is likely to be positioned as a compact sedan with crossover styling, offering consumers a brand-new driving experience.

Judging from the exposed interior spy photos, the EV4 adopts a highly technological design style. The integrated dual-screen is very eye-catching, not only enhancing the technological atmosphere in the car but also providing drivers with more convenient information operation. Notably, despite the popularity of large-screen designs in current car interiors, the EV4 still retains physical buttons and toggle design under the screen for easy operation while driving.

In addition, the new car is equipped with a dual-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel. The multi-function button design on both sides allows the driver to easily control various functions of the vehicle. The gearshift lever adopts a column shift design, located on the right side of the steering column, which not only saves space in the car, but also makes the operation more convenient for the driver.

Previously, the road test spy photos of the new car have also been exposed, adopting a fashionable and dynamic style. The longitudinally arranged headlight group design can see three groups of light sources, full of a sense of technology. On the side of the vehicle, the EV4 adopts a coupe-style larger back design, with smooth and dynamic body lines, showing a strong sportiness. At the rear of the car, there are two small spoiler boards on the left and right sides of the roof. The tailgate will adopt a hatchback layout. Such design not only increases the practicability of the car but also makes the vehicle look more dynamic.

In terms of power, the EV4 will be based on the 400V architecture of the E-GMP platform and uses a pure electric drive mode. In the future, the new car will offer single-motor and dual-motor versions for consumers to choose from, with an expected range of over 500km. Such power performance can undoubtedly meet the diversified needs of consumers for new energy vehicles.

Previously, Kia had launched the EV5 SUV, and the arrival of the EV4 will allow Kia to have products in the new energy sedan and SUV markets. From the product point of view, the Kia EV4 will have an advantage over traditional fuel vehicles, but there is still a certain gap in power performance and intelligence compared with Tesla and Chinese new energy brand sedans.
