The Mazda CX-80 will be Unveiled in Europe on April 18 and will be Sold in Asia

Recently, Mazda has released some official pictures of the CX-80. These pictures are all of the new car's rear, including the taillights, the D-pillar, and the large side windows between the C-pillar and D-pillar. The large side windows suggest that the CX-80 should have a third row of seats. According to previous information, the CX-80 should offer 6-seater and 7-seater models for consumers to choose from.

From a design perspective, the CX-80 will look more like a stretched version of the CX-60. The new car will be sold in Europe and Asia and will offer a straight-six diesel engine and a straight-six petrol engine, all equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system. In addition, the CX-80 should also launch a PHEV model. The current information is that the CX-80 will officially launch in Europe on April 18th.

From previous spy shots and patent drawings, the design of the CX-80 should not have much difference from the CX-60. The length of the CX-80 would possibly be close to 5 meters, with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, it is a mid-to-large-sized SUV. The grille also has a blackened treatment. It adopts a hidden exhaust design, and is equipped with a roof rack. The body surround and wheel arches are designed in the same color as the body, not adopting the black surround commonly seen in SUVs.

The interior of the Mazda CX-80 may include a digital dashboard, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a 12.3-inch central control screen, 360-degree panoramic imaging, a heads-up display, and other configurations. Moreover, the Mazda CX-80 may offer a mild hybrid version with an e-Skyactiv D 3.3-liter straight-six diesel engine or an e-Skyactiv G 3.3-liter straight-six gasoline engine, and a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid available as an option, while the four-wheel drive system may be standard.
