Recently, MG officially announced on its Malaysian official website that the all-new MG Cyberster pure electric supercar is now available for pre-booking. It is reported that the official has not yet announced the model grades for sale, but the price will be less than RM 350,000. The MG Cyberster, as a new pure electric convertible sports car launched by the MG brand, has attracted the eyes of countless car enthusiasts since its debut. Its unique British sports car design not only highlights the brand's classic heritage, but also infuses modern technology and innovative elements, bringing a whole new driving experience to consumers.

In terms of exterior design, the MG Cyberster adopts the traditional two-seater soft top sports car design, and the body lines are smooth and dynamic. The front part of the car is designed to be lower, coupled with streamlined styling and atomic energy-inspired headlights, showing a strong sense of power. The rear part, the tail box edge of the ducktail design corresponds with the arrow type tail light, further improving the vehicle's recognition. The scissor-style door that opens upwards, even more, shows the elegant temperament perfectly.

In terms of interior, MG Cyberster does not disappoint either. On the top of the center console, a set of wrap-around curved surface liquid crystal display is used, built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, providing the driver with rich driving information and entertainment functions. The steering wheel is a twin-beam flat-bottomed design, with a large amount of leather material wrap, the feel is delicate and sporty. The center of the seat is made of suede material, which not only adds a sporty vision, but also enhances the comfort of riding. The central armrest part is designed to slope, integrating the electronic shift button and a set of upright touch screens, and the switch and cup holder for the electric soft top are also fully equipped, bringing great convenience to the driver.

The new car is available in Trophy and GT models, each equipped with a single motor and dual motors respectively. The Trophy model is equipped with a single motor, uses rear-wheel drive, has a maximum horsepower of 340, a peak torque of 475 N·m, and an acceleration of 0-62 miles per hour in about 5.0 seconds. The GT model is equipped with dual motors, uses four-wheel drive, has a maximum horsepower of 503, a peak torque of 725 N·m, and an acceleration of 0-62 miles per hour in about 3.2 seconds.
In terms of endurance, the MG Cyberster is equipped with two power batteries with capacities of 64 kilowatt-hours and 77 kilowatt-hours, corresponding to three endurance versions depending on the configuration model. The range of endurance under CLTC conditions is 501-580 kilometers, meeting the needs of different consumers. Whether for daily commuting or long-distance travel, the MG Cyberster can provide sufficient power support.

In summary, the MG Cyberster has a very distinctive appearance, luxurious interior configuration, strong power performance and excellent endurance mileage. It has a high rate of return on the road. It is an innovative attempt by the MG brand. However, for family cars, this model has many shortcomings in terms of space and practicality, and is more positioned as a toy or luxury property, just like a MINI in the era of electric vehicles, it is a more niche model.
