Volvo speeds up electrification: Launching 10 new models in the next two years!

Although Volvo has adjusted its goals for total electrification, it has not slowed down the process of electrification. The company has confirmed that it will launch a variety of new models in the next two years, including all-electric and plug-in hybrid models, to enrich its electrified product line.
At a recent internal meeting, Volvo's senior management reiterated the company's electrification strategy. It's reported that 10 new and modified models will be launched in the next two years. Among them, the pure electric SUV Volvo EX90 has started production in the United States, and the compact pure electric SUV Volvo EX60 is planned to be launched in 2026, which will be based on the new SPA3 platform and equipped with efficient electric motors. In addition, the Volvo EX40 small electric SUV will also receive an upgrade, but the new Volvo EX30 has been postponed until 2025 due to reasons.
Except for SUV models, Volvo also plans to launch the touring version EV60 Cross Country and the flagship sedan ES90. At the same time, Volvo will continue to improve its plug-in hybrid models, increasing electric endurance mileage.
