It recently learned from Wuling Auto that the new addition to the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV series, the 215km youth edition, will be sold at a price of 40,800 RMB.
The new car continues the third generation of the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV family's stylish and cute design style. It offers five fun dual-color styles: creamy apricot, light mango yellow, avocado green, white peach pink and iris blue. It also comes equipped with LED front and rear light groups, giving it a well-rounded cute appearance. The interior design comes in two styles: milk toffee and brownie black, both vintage sweet styles. And the thousand bird checker texture cloth seats give the car more texture.

In terms of safety, the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV youth edition adopts a ring cage body, with high-strength steel accounting for 60.18% (the highest in its class). It has 8 places with tensile strength of up to 1500Mpa thermal formed steel, and comes standard with main and passenger airbags. In terms of battery safety, the new car continues the "five-layer core electrical protection ring" advantage, and adopts the highest IP68 level of dust and water resistance for electric vehicle parts.

As for battery, motor and control, the new car is equipped with a 17.3 kWh battery, has a CLTC pure electric range of 215km and supports three types of charging methods: DC fast charging, AC slow charging and household on-board charging. It can achieve a quick energy replenishment from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes, and can match with a household 220V/10A power socket without conversion. The new car also provides intelligent recharging function, which effectively prevents the vehicle from being unable to start due to a low battery.

It is worth noting that since the launch of the SAIC-GM Wuling Hongguang's Wuling Hongguang MINIEV in July 2020, by August 2024, the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV has celebrated its fourth anniversary on the market, with cumulative sales exceeding 1.3 million units.
