[PCauto] According to the latest information, Xiaomi plans to launch four new cars in 2026, further expanding its product lineup. These new models include the Xiaomi SU7, an SU7 Executive Edition, a new five-seat range-extender SUV, and a new seven-seat range-extender SUV.
As one of Xiaomi's core models, the new Xiaomi SU7 will be launched in the first half of 2026. The car will be upgraded based on the current model, and it is expected to feature an 800V high-voltage platform. It is also expected to feature 5C batteries, enabling faster charging speeds and higher energy density.
The new car will be standard with lidar and NVIDIA Thor-U chips to further enhance the performance of its intelligent driving assistance system. Additionally, on the comfort front, the SU7 is expected to offer options such as zero-gravity seats, acoustic glass, and seat massage functions to enhance the riding experience.
It is worth noting that due to these configuration upgrades, the price of the SU7 may also increase.

The SU7 Executive Edition, which will follow closely behind, will be specially designed for rear-seat comfort. It will feature a significantly extended wheelbase and overall length to provide a more spacious cabin.
Compared to the current Xiaomi SU7, the Executive Edition’s length is expected to reach 5,150mm, with a wheelbase of 3,150mm. This change makes the new model more suitable for consumers who value rear-seat space and comfort.
This variant is also expected to attract more high-end consumers, positioning itself as a model suited for family travel and business receptions.

In addition, Xiaomi Auto plans to launch two range-extended SUVs, available in five-seat and seven-seat layouts. These vehicles are expected to be named Xiaomi YU8 and YU9, with the YU9 anticipated to become a large flagship SUV.
The YU9 is expected to measure over 5,200mm in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3,100mm, featuring a design that emphasizes luxury and spaciousness.
The YU9 will likely be equipped with a large battery capacity of over 70kWh, offering a pure electric range of 400-500 kilometers. This will make its overall range performance highly competitive.
Additionally, the YU9 will feature rear-wheel steering to improve the maneuverability of the large SUV. The expected price range for the YU9 is 400,000-500,000 RMB (RM232,160 - RM290,250).

On the other hand, the Xiaomi YU8 will be a slightly more compact seven-seat range-extender SUV, targeting the family segment. It is expected to share a similar design style and some hardware with the YU9, but will focus on cost-effectiveness.
The launch of these two range-extender SUVs will further broaden Xiaomi Auto’s SUV portfolio, catering to the needs of diverse consumers, particularly in the large-family vehicle segment.
Overall, this new series of models from Xiaomi Auto demonstrates its growing competitiveness in the electric vehicle market. From high-performance smart sedans to family-oriented range-extender SUVs, Xiaomi is clearly expanding its product matrix and challenging traditional automakers head-on.
