[PCauto] On August 27, 2025, Xpeng held the Chinese premiere of the new generation Xpeng P7 in Beijing, showcasing this intelligent electric coupe that integrates innovative technology with design aesthetics.
As a key strategic model for the Xpeng brand, the new generation P7 has garnered widespread industry attention due to its groundbreaking technological features and market positioning.
Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng stated at the launch event that this model represents the brand's latest achievements in the fields of electrification and intelligence.

Revolutionary Design Language and Interior
The new generation Xpeng P7 continues the brand's signature streamlined design language, with body dimensions of 5017×1970×1427mm, a wheelbase of 3008mm, and a coefficient of drag as low as Cd 0.201.

The exterior adopts a "low-profile, wide-body, and sleek" design concept, featuring hidden millimeter-wave radar and an integrated flat illuminated logo, showcasing a strong sense of technological sophistication.

In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with an 87-inch AR-HUD display system and a 15.6-inch three-axis dynamic central control screen, which supports voice interaction with "head-turning" response functionality, providing an immersive smart experience for drivers and passengers.

The Powerful Performance and Technical Parameters of the New P7
In terms of core performance, the new generation P7 is built on an 800V high-voltage SiC platform and offers three range versions:
· 702km Long Range Version
· 820km Ultra Long Range Version
· 750km High-Performance Version

The high-performance version adopts a dual-motor four-wheel-drive layout, with a maximum output power of 437kW, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 230km/h.

The charging system supports 5C ultra-fast charging technology, replenishing 525km of range in just 10 minutes, effectively alleviating users' range anxiety. The chassis system uses a fully aluminum front double-wishbone and rear five-link structure, standardizing double-chamber air suspension and DCC variable damping shock absorbers to ensure exceptional handling stability.
Intelligent Features are the Standout Highlight of the New P7
The model is equipped with three self-developed Turing AI chips, with a total computing power of 2250 TOPS, supporting VLA full-scene assisted driving functions. The system can achieve features such as seamless highway handover and memory parking in parking lots, and is equipped with the industry's first exterior four-zone voice system.

Gained 10,000 Orders Within 7 Minutes of Launch
According to official data from Xpeng, within 6 minutes and 37 seconds of opening pre-sales, orders exceeded 10,000 units, setting the fastest pre-sales record in the brand's history.
From the user demographic analysis, the long-range version (820km) is the most popular, accounting for 45%. Among these, users from Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities make up 70%, and the repurchase rate among existing owners reaches 60%.

The launch of the new generation Xpeng P7 comes at a critical time as competition in China's electric vehicle market intensifies. Its main competitors include Tesla Model 3, Xiaomi SU7, and BYD Han EV, among others.
Compared to rival models, the new generation P7 showcases significant advantages in ultra-fast charging technology, intelligent driving systems, and chassis configuration.
With dual-chamber air suspension and an 800V high-voltage platform as standard across the range, it becomes one of the most technologically well-equipped models in its class.
