【PCauto】The Zeekr 7X is set to make its debut at the Malaysia Automotive Show this Thursday and officially be launched in the Malaysian market in the third quarter of this year.
The Zeekr 7X is a luxurious five-seat SUV, measuring 4,825mm in length, 1,930mm in width, and 1,666mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,925mm.

In terms of exterior design, the Zeekr 7X features the “Hidden Energy” design, with its shell-like engine cover being one of its standout characteristics, integrating the hood and fender panels.
The roof design is also quite distinctive, with the connection between the A-pillar and the front engine hood cleverly hidden beneath the hood, allowing for a nearly seamless integration of the windshield, sunroof, and rear window, creating a floating roof effect.

Additionally, the Zeekr 7X boasts fully automated frameless doors, with a smart one-touch open and close feature that adds a touch of sophistication and ceremony to every entry and exit; the intelligent B-pillar interaction system comes equipped with a TOF 3D camera and a multimedia touchscreen, allowing for unlocking and locking of the doors via facial recognition.

Inside, the Zeekr 7X adopts a “Luxuriously Spacious and Versatile” design philosophy, providing maximum room for passengers. The seats are upholstered in Nappa full-grain leather, offering 20% more comfort than standard Nappa leather while being skin-friendly, dust-proof, and stain-resistant.

The interior features a 4,673mm-long ambient light strip that wraps around the cabin, complemented by 11 zones of ambient lighting and water ripple laser-etched panels to create a romantic and cozy atmosphere.

The rear seats are equipped with electrically adjustable sofas, featuring eight massage points, six massage modes, and three adjustable intensity levels, as well as ventilation, heating, memory, and electric adjustment functions. The trunk offers a capacity of 616 liters, easily accommodating three 28-inch suitcases.

In terms of performance, the Zeekr 7X is built on Geely's SEA architecture and incorporates a full-stack 800V high-voltage system, enabling rapid acceleration, long range, and fast charging capabilities that maximize performance and efficiency.
The Zeekr 7X offers various configurations in the Chinese market to cater to different consumer needs, with CLTC comprehensive range options of 605km, 705km, and 780km.

Specifically, the 75kWh second-generation Golden Battery can achieve a maximum charging rate of 5.5C, with a charging time of just 10.5 minutes to go from 10% to 80%. A five-minute charge can provide enough energy for two hours of highway driving. The 100kWh Qilin Battery can offer a CLTC range of up to 780km, with a charge time of 15 minutes extending the range by 546km.

For powertrains, the Zeekr 7X provides consumers with the choice of single and dual motor versions. The single motor version delivers a maximum power of 310 kW, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version features a high-performance silicon carbide electric drive system, delivering a combined peak power of 475 kW and a maximum torque of 710 Nm, allowing for a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds.

In terms of intelligent features, the Zeekr 7X is equipped with the 8295 Smart Cockpit computing platform built on a 5-nanometer process, utilizing a 16-inch 3.5K Mini-LED central display for user interaction. This screen is the world’s first automotive-grade quantum dot Mini-LED display, combining the high contrast and vibrant colors of OLED with the brightness and durability of LCD technology.

The Zeekr Sound Pro premium audio system features 21 speakers, a peak power output of 2,160 watts, a 7.1.4 channel layout, and Dolby Atmos for an immersive auditory experience. It also supports OTA upgrades.

In terms of advanced driver-assistance systems, the Zeekr 7X is equipped with the Zeekr Intelligent Driving 2.0 system, which includes one LiDAR, 11 high-definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars.
Safety has always been a key consideration in automotive design. The Zeekr 7X features a high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid body composed of 83.3% high-strength steel and aluminum alloy, of which 31.1% is made of ultra-high-strength hot-formed steel (1500 & 2000 MPa). The vehicle structure is reinforced with eight horizontal and nine vertical collision structures, single-piece die-cast aluminum components, and rear puncture-resistant steel plates, creating a "mobile safety fortress."

Based on the SEA architecture, the Zeekr 7X also incorporates comprehensive electromagnetic radiation safety protection, with a multi-layer electromagnetic safety design establishing a top-notch EMC development process for the vehicle and its components, achieving aerospace-grade electromagnetic safety from component level to the whole vehicle.
Additionally, the driver's side door storage compartment features a safety window-breaking tool that can generate up to 3,000N of instantaneous impact force with just around 50N of pulling force. The vehicle is also equipped with a child safety intelligent seat with airbags designed to provide maximum safety for children, supporting direct vehicle power connection and integrating with cabin data for convenient control of the seat's ventilation through the vehicle's interface.

The Zeekr 7X showcases strong product capabilities across the board. It will be unveiled at the Malaysia Automotive Show and is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year with price between RM170,000 and RM200,000.
