2024 Beijing Auto Show: The New Generation of Mazda 6? Mazda EZ-6 Debuts

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the Changan Mazda EZ-6 made its official debut. The new car is positioned as a D-segment, a brand-new electric car jointly developed by Mazda and Changan. It is reported that the car will officially go on sale in the second half of the year.

In terms of appearance, the Mazda EZ-6 continues the design style of the Mazda family. The biggest highlight of the front face is the classic Mazda wing with a luminous design, which uses a front lamp with a through and flowing grille, and the overall concept continues to be dynamic.

On the side of the body, the car has hidden door handles and offers two 19-inch alloy wheels, and these wheels also use a low wind resistance design. The new car's body lines are full of power, dynamic waistline, like other Mazda models, can show dynamic beauty just by body lines. The official stated that the new car will offer 8 optional car paints, including the brand's two new colors - Glittering Gold and Moon Gray. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the car are 4921/1890/1485mm respectively.

The tail lights of the vehicle follow a through design, with 4 round cannon lamp groups added on both sides of the taillight, which also pays tribute to the brand's classic design. It is worth mentioning that this car will also be equipped with an intelligent electric rear spoiler that supports manual or automatic opening and closing.

In terms of interior, the dashboard of this car adopts a floating design style, and the overall style also leans towards electrification. In terms of materials, the car will use Alcantara material, and will be equipped with matte chrome decorations to enhance the sense of delicacy. The high-equipped model will use the "Red Deer Brown" interior color, while the basic model will use the "Egret Feather White" color.

In terms of intelligence, the car will be equipped with a 14.6-inch LCD screen, and the car system will use the 8155 chip, integrating control functions such as air conditioning, seats, and entertainment. The car will also be equipped with a 14-speaker Sony sound system, 64-color ambient lights, and front-row zero-gravity seats. The car cabin also supports the switch of 13 different scene modes. It is worth mentioning that the car also has a panoramic sky canopy and will provide automatic or manual sunshades.

In terms of power, the new car will be compatible with pure electric (BEV) and extended-range power (PHEV). The internal model J90K and J90K-REEV two new cars will be launched in 2025, and by 2026 there are plans for NEV SUV and NEV CAR.
