Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic (with manual mode) or a 6-speed manual, with front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive (on certain trims). Technology upgrades include the addition of traffic sign recognition and automatic reverse braking in top-tier models, while the entire range retains Mazda3's dynamic driving characteristics.
Mazda3 Maintains Stable Sales in the North American Market
From January to July 2025, Mazda's North American sales reached 255,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%. While crossovers and SUVs constitute a significant proportion, the Mazda3 remains an important representative in the compact sedan segment.
The new model’s starting price remains below the $30,000 threshold, highlighting its value-for-money advantage in the context of inflation. In other words, the Mazda3 is leveraging configuration upgrades and pricing strategies to address market competition, especially the pressure from electrified vehicles.

Mazda 3 Still Holds Its Ground in the Fuel Vehicle Market
The launch of the 2026 Mazda3 shows that Mazda is still investing in the compact sedan market by refining configuration levels and strengthening standard equipment to enhance product appeal.
Although the industry trend leans towards electrification, the Mazda3 persists with internal combustion engine power, focusing on driving experience and practical functionality. In the future, strategies may be adjusted based on market feedback. The new car will arrive at dealerships in late summer this year, and consumers can choose different configurations and body styles based on their needs.
