Another Update from Xiaomi Auto? The Suspected First SUV from Xiaomi Revealed

Recently, a set of suspect Xiaomi SUV model spy photos were exposed on the internet. The overall profile is similar to the Ferrari Purosangue, and the image was jokingly referred by netizens as the Ferrari of Xiaomi. According to previous information, the car's code is MX11 and is expected to be officially released and listed in 2025, which is possibly named Xiaomi SU8.

From the spy photos, the new car looks more like a touring car. It adopts a similar coupe SUV design style, and the body is very low-lying. At the same time, the front engine compartment shape is relatively slender, and the rear of the carriage is relatively compact. This design is identical to the Ferrari Purosangue, which presents a more sporty visual effect.


From the detail perspective, the new car is equipped with a borderless exterior rearview mirror, five-spoke hubs, yellow brake calipers, roof laser radar, circular taillights, and electric lift spoilers, etc. The size is not prominent, the car length is expected to be controlled within 5 meters. For reference, the length, width, height of Xiaomi SU7 are 4997/1963/1455mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm.


Xiaomi SU7 Guiding price range: 215,900 - 299,900 CNY
In terms of power, it is expected to continue the power system of Xiaomi SU7. As a reference, Xiaomi SU7 offers options of single motor rear drive and dual motor all-wheel drive. The single motor version has a maximum power of 220 kilowatts, a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters, and an acceleration time from zero to a hundred in 5.28 seconds. The dual motor version has a combined power output of 495 kilowatts, a maximum torque of 838 Newton meters, and an acceleration time from zero to a hundred in 2.78 seconds. In terms of cruising range, battery packs with a capacity of 73.6 kWh, 94.3 kWh, and 101 kWh are available, with corresponding CLTC operating conditions of 700km, 830km, and 800km, respectively.
Price wise, Xiaomi SU7 is targeting Tesla Model 3 and is 30,000 CNY cheaper than the latter. The current starting price of the Tesla Model Y is 249,900 CNY, does that mean the first SUV from Xiaomi may be priced around 219,900 CNY?
