About a week before the opening of the Bangkok Auto Show, the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport officially went on sale. There is no doubt that the new car appeared at the Mitsubishi booth at this Bangkok Auto Show. Four sub-models of the 2024 model are available, with not much overall change but the main variations are the new engines and gearboxes it is equipped with. In addition, compared to the old models, the price of the 2024 model has risen by 4000-10000 Thai baht.

Price and Model Information of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport:
-Pajero Sport 2.4 Prime 2WD 6AT costs 1389000 Thai baht
-Pajero Sport 2.4 Ultra 2WD 6AT costs 1529000 Thai baht
-Pajero Sport 2.4 Elite 2WD 6AT costs 1579000 Thai baht
-Pajero Sport 2.4 Elite 4WD 6AT costs 1689000 Thai baht
At the same time, the new car enjoys certain car purchase benefits, including a vehicle warranty of 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, free labor fees for regular inspections during the warranty period, and 24-hour emergency rescue services.
The exterior of the 2024 Pajero Sport has changed. For example, the grille design of the front face has been adjusted, but it is still the Mitsubishi family-style design, with the partitioned headlights arranged on both sides. The black grille on the side is decorated with chrome, which looks still quite wild and in line with the usual style. In addition, the hub has been replaced with a new style of 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, whereas the body size has not changed. In addition, it is worth noting that a white body requires an additional cost of 15000 Thai baht and a red body is not provided in the Prime model.

The overall design of the interior has not changed, but a new steering wheel design has been added. The new design does not add any element of youth but better fits the rugged and professional style of this SUV. In addition, the liquid crystal instrument panel screen of the Elite model adopts a new design. These changes are the mainstream changes in Mitsubishi's recent facelift, which can be seen on the XPANDER CROSS model.

The main change is in the power system. The previous 8AT gearbox has been replaced with a 6AT, and the engine has been replaced with a straight-line four-cylinder diesel engine codenamed 4N16. The engine cylinder capacity is 2.4L, equipped with a turbocharged air compression system, a compression power of 15.2:1, which has a maximum power of 184PS and is corresponding to an engine speed of 3500rpm. And the maximum torque of 430N·m, which is corresponding to a speed of 2250-2500rpm. Two driving modes are provided, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and off-road driving modes for different off-road conditions have been added.
Main changes in the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport model:
-Changed the design of the new front grille
-Replaced with 18-inch alloy wheels, new style.
-Change the steering wheel, new design
-Change the instrument screen to a new design (only for Elite models)

Perodua Traz VS Ativa, which one is more worth buying?
Traz, as a newly launched mid-sized SUV, offers more spacious room and mainstream power compared to small SUVs, but its pricing appears slightly higher than that of Ativa. Ativa, on the other hand, is Perodua's long-time best-selling small SUV with more affordable pricing and a balanced combination of power and tech features.

Perodua Myvi and Bezza may undergo major upgrades in 2026
After the update, the Bezza will no longer be just a low-cost alternative but a core model in the Perodua system with greater market competitiveness and brand premium potential. The upgrade of the Myvi is not to be unconventional but to strengthen the brand and market, ensuring that the Myvi continues to maintain its irreplaceable position in the new round of product competition.

Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.

Will the Toyota Yaris Cross come to Malaysia? If it comes, how much will it sell for?
The launch of Perodua Traz indicates that the market size of small SUVs in Malaysia has been expanding in recent years. However, the question naturally shifts back to Toyota. As a brand with the most comprehensive product line and a strong foundation in both the SUV and hybrid sectors, will Toyota choose the Yaris Cross to participate in this small SUV competition?

Why is the Toyota Sienna so popular with so many people?
In Malaysia, most family MPVs choose Toyota Alphard, Vellfire, or Kia Carnival. These models each have their advantages in luxury, space, or brand influence, but models that truly balance large space, multifunctional practicality, fuel efficiency, and reliability are rarely seen.
