Four sub-models of the 2024 model are available, with not much overall change but the main variations are the new engines and gearboxes it is equipped with. The exterior of the 2024 Pajero Sport has changed. The main change is in the power system. The previous 8AT gearbox has been replaced with a 6AT, and the engine has been replaced with a straight-line four-cylinder diesel engine codenamed 4N16. The engine cylinder capacity is 2.4L, equipped with a turbocharged air compression system, a compression power of 15.2:1, which has a maximum power of 184PS and is corresponding to an engine speed of 3500rpm. And the maximum torque of 430N·m, which is corresponding to a speed of 2250-2500rpm. Two driving modes are provided, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and off-road driving modes for different off-road conditions have been added.
