At the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show, BYD showcased the Sealion, which has not yet been officially launched. This car made its debut at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show in China, but even in the Chinese market, it has not been officially released. From the displayed model, only the exterior is revealed recently, and we have limited information regarding the interior design and some features. However, its presence indicates that BYD intends to introduce the Sealion to the Thai market in the future.

In terms of appearance, the Sealion was created by a design team led by BYD's Global Styling Director Wolfgang Egger. Thanks to the flexibility of the BYD e-platform 3.0 and the CTB battery body integration technology, the new car has a more perfect body proportion. The front face of the new car continues the design of the OceanX concept car, which further enhances the family concept of the Ocean series models. Specifically, the car features Haiyue Double U floating lights, coupled with sharp headlights and exaggerated three-segment air intakes below, which is full of dynamism. At the same time, the two raised lines on its bonnet greatly enhance the vehicle's muscular sense.
On the side of the body, the stretched proportions of the Sealion give a strong sense of spatial imagination. The graceful and smooth roofline extends to the rear of the car, which creates a standout visual effect. At the same time, the rising shoulder line and the simple and powerful double waistline design create a good sense of sportiness. And the dimensions of the new car body are 4830/1925/1620mm, and the wheelbase is 2930mm.
At the rearof the car, a rich combination of straight lines and dynamic curves create a strong visual impact. The multiple horizontal lines integrate seamlessly with the side waistline, which enhances the visual width of the body. At the same time, the inclusion of the currently popular full-width taillights enriches the sense of layers.

In terms of power, Sealion is built based on BYD's advanced e-platform 3.0 technology and adopts a pure electric drive. This model will offer a total of 3 power choices between two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The maximum power of the two-wheel-drive models is 170 kW and 230 kW respectively, while the maximum power of the front and rear drive motors of the all-wheel drive model is 160 kW and 230 kW respectively.
It is known that Sealion will also adopt CTB battery body integration technology, equipped with front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, Yunnian-C intelligent body damping control system, and iTAC intelligent torque control system.
