At the 45th Bangkok Motor Show, VOLVO brought the smallest SUV in VOLVO's history, the VOLVO EX30. The new car has launched single motor and dual motor versions with guide prices of 1,590,000-1,890,000 baht. It was only unveiled a few months ago, and now it has arrived in the Thai market so quickly. Let's know more about this new car.

In terms of exterior design, we can see that the VOLVO EX30 has some very distinctive brand design features, such as its LOGO shape and the front lights known as the hammer of Thor, which are all design elements inherited from the fuel car. However, the closed-type grille design shows its purely electric identity. The new car adopts a two-tone body design, and the tail light cluster is highly recognizable. The whole body design suits the positioning of urban fashionable users and showcases a more high-end taste. The official main color is steam gray, this light color with blue is very consistent with the minimalist style of Northern Europe, and it also suits the EX30's small SUV. In addition to this color and the regular black and white, the EX30 also comes in yellow and light blue.
In terms of interior, EX30 brings a minimalist design style, which fits well with the current mainstream minimalist style of electric cars. A 12.5-inch central touchscreen covers the main vehicle functions, and the dashboard is greatly simplified. There are not too many decorations on the central control panel, which seems to match the exterior well and takes the minimalist style to the extreme.
There are some configuration differences between the low-end and high-end models of the new car. The low-end model is equipped with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, single-zone air conditioning, manual seat adjustment, etc., and is equipped with a driver assistance system. The high-end model uses 19-inch wheels and dual-zone air conditioning, electric seat adjustment, etc., and also has a 360-degree camera, Harman Kardon sound, and cross-road intersection warning system, etc. The bar-shaped audio system is a major highlight of the EX30, and this car provides 5 lighting and sound themes to create a Scandinavian atmosphere.
VOLVO EX30 is equipped with the Pilot Assist driving assistance function, which can automatically change lanes, maintain a certain lateral distance with the large vehicle, and adjust the speed to maintain a safe distance from the front vehicle. In addition, features such as AEB active braking, door opening warning, and automatic parking are also equipped on the EX30.
It is worth mentioning that many materials in VOLVO EX30 are recyclable. For example, each of the three natural-style interiors it creates is made of renewable and recyclable materials, of which about 30% of the decorations are made of recycled plastics. Approximately 25% of the aluminum used in the body and about 17% of the steel and plastic are recyclable materials.
