At this year's Bangkok Motor Show, NETA unveiled its compact SUV for family use, named NETA X. Compared to the petite NETA V, NETA X boasts larger dimensions, better off-road capability, and more versatile practical space. Naturally, it will also come with richer configurations. The exhibition also featured both left-hand drive and right-hand drive versions of the NETA X, which shows that the two vehicles have no differences. The exterior design and body size are the same, and the interior design and materials used are also identical, which indicate a high level of consistency between the two vehicles. Soon, NETA will enrich its product lineup in the Thai market, and I believe that the NETA X will also be very popular.
As a reference, the current NETA X on sale in the Chinese market is priced at 126,800-146,800 RMB (638,000-738,000 Thai baht). In the picture below, the blue body is the left rudder model and the white body is the right rudder model.

The exterior design of NETA X is very commendable. The front face design is very wonderful. The new car adopts a newly designed closed front face with a strong sense of unity. Andit adopts a split headlight design, the slender LED light strips cooperate with the sharp headlights below, which makes the front face design full of sportiness. On the side of the car body, the waistline design is very powerful, which also makes the overall side design shape three-dimensional. In addition, the new car also adopts a hidden D-pillar design and black wheel eyebrows. In terms of vehicle size, the new car is 4619/1860/1628mm in length, width, and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2770mm. The lines of the tail are very rich and adopt a through-tail light design. The C-pillar of the car body is blackened to form a suspended roof. It can be seen that the exhibition car did not adopt a two-color body design, but on the front and rear wheel arches and side skirts, black frames were added for decoration, which is also a common design for SUVs.

For the interior, a new design concept is adopted, which is very clean and tidy and quite successful in creating a quality feeling. It can be seen that its detailed workmanship and the choice of materials in seats and other places are carefully considered, without giving a distinct plastic feeling. Given its price in the Chinese market, the interior quality of NETA X is pretty good.
The car is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen and a Snapdragon 8155 chip. The resolution reaches 1920x1080 (1080p), which is capable of supporting daily use entertainment apps. The logic of the entire system is designed quite clearly, and both its display effect and processing speed are very good. This system has a highly intelligent voice recognition function. After entering the Thai market, the corresponding function can also recognize Thai and English. However, we can see that the air conditioning control button has also been integrated into the central control screen. This is a practice many electric cars like to create a tech atmosphere without mechanical buttons. But the problem is if there are issues with the screen, the use of the air conditioning system will be affected. So this design has both pros and cons.

NETA X has adopted an integrated sporty-style seat. But after actually sitting in it, you will find that its wrapping is not very strong, it still conforms more to the seating feel of a regular family car, only the style looks more sporty. From these details, we can see that NETA X takes the youthful route. But fundamentally, it is still a family-oriented SUV that values practicality.
The current NETA X series on sale in China all adopt a front-mounted and front-drive layout, with a maximum motor power of 120kW (163PS) and a peak torque of 210N·m, which is sufficient for daily family outings. However, the official 0-100km/h acceleration requires 9.5 seconds, so it is relatively difficult to find a lot of driving pleasure in this car. NETA X has two versions of battery life, 401km, and 501km, and the official power consumption per hundred kilometers is 12.5kWh/100km. Both endurance versions use lithium iron phosphate batteries, but it is currently unknown what type of battery version will be launched after entering the Thai market. We will continue to pay attention to the latest dynamics of this car.

Perodua Myvi and Bezza may undergo major upgrades in 2026
After the update, the Bezza will no longer be just a low-cost alternative but a core model in the Perodua system with greater market competitiveness and brand premium potential. The upgrade of the Myvi is not to be unconventional but to strengthen the brand and market, ensuring that the Myvi continues to maintain its irreplaceable position in the new round of product competition.

Perodua Traz VS Ativa, which one is more worth buying?
Traz, as a newly launched mid-sized SUV, offers more spacious room and mainstream power compared to small SUVs, but its pricing appears slightly higher than that of Ativa. Ativa, on the other hand, is Perodua's long-time best-selling small SUV with more affordable pricing and a balanced combination of power and tech features.

Will the Toyota Yaris Cross come to Malaysia? If it comes, how much will it sell for?
The launch of Perodua Traz indicates that the market size of small SUVs in Malaysia has been expanding in recent years. However, the question naturally shifts back to Toyota. As a brand with the most comprehensive product line and a strong foundation in both the SUV and hybrid sectors, will Toyota choose the Yaris Cross to participate in this small SUV competition?

Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.

Why is the Toyota Sienna so popular with so many people?
In Malaysia, most family MPVs choose Toyota Alphard, Vellfire, or Kia Carnival. These models each have their advantages in luxury, space, or brand influence, but models that truly balance large space, multifunctional practicality, fuel efficiency, and reliability are rarely seen.
