In addition to being equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, the new model will also feature lidar, possibly supporting urban NOA. Moreover, it is the first model to incorporate BYD's latest unmanned aerial vehicle technology.
The BYD Sealion 07 DM-i is designed based on the "Ocean Aesthetic" concept, showcasing overall simplicity and practicability. The front features an encircling and penetrating LED light group with a trapezoidal air intake grille below. In terms of the size, the new vehicle measures 4880 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 1940 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm.

The side profile of the BYD Sealion 07 DM-i exudes a strong sense of power through a multitude of design lines. Paired with an upward-arching shoulder line and a simple yet powerful dual-waistline design, the feeling of speed is further enhanced. The rear of the vehicle also embraces a simple style, featuring a streamlined taillight that incorporates classic ocean droplet elements, characterized by their slender and dynamic shape. Two silver accents adorn the rear bumper, complementing the front guard. Notably, the DM-p model is marked with a "4.9s" emblem at the rear.

The lidar is mounted on the roof and it is expected to be equipped with the advanced intelligent driving assistance system – DiPilot 300, supporting city navigation, high-speed navigation, automatic parking and other full-scene intelligent driving assistance. What's more, BYD Sealion 07 DM-i has a drone cabin on its roof, further enhancing expandability.
The BYD Sealion 07 DM-i will incorporate BYD's fifth-generation DM technology. The new model has two versions of power configuration, two-wheel and four-wheel drive. The four-wheel version is named BYD Sealion 07DM-p, marking the debut of DM-p models since the launch of the fifth generation DM technology. The two-wheel single-motor version has a power output of 115kW, while the dual-motor version features a peak power of 200kW for the front motor and 150kW for the rear one. The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes only 4.7s.
