At the Chengdu Auto Show in 2024, BYD launched a brand-new medium and large flagship MPV model - BYD Xia. This model not only carries BYD's understanding and expectations of the MPV market, but also shines at the auto show with its excellent product strength, becoming the focus of attention. The new car will be sold globally in the future, with an estimated price starting from RMB 300,000. Xia is not only the name of the first medium to large MPV, but also a new naming IP of BYD dynasty. As the first dynasty of the Chinese nation, the Xia Dynasty laid the cornerstone of the entire Huaxia civilization. The name Xia best represents the positioning and pioneering significance of the Dynasty flagship MPV.

BYD Xia inherits the new national tide dragon face aesthetics exclusive to the Dynasty network. The front face is bold and square, and the "dragon whiskers" decorations on both sides adopt a 3D stereo structure with a spray paint + half frontal smoked black style. The LED daytime running lights extend from the central Logo to both sides, like "dragon whiskers" fluttering in the wind. The rectangular "dragon eye" headlights have a high brand recognition when lit up. The elements inside the grille are made with a staggered padding design of dragon scale armor. In addition, the area of the entire air intake grille accounts for 4/3 of the area of the front of the car, giving the whole front of the car a powerful visual impact.

The lines of the side of the car body are smooth, the upturned waistline complements the large size wheel hub, the hidden rear door track design enhances the integrity and beauty of the side, and it also has semi-hidden door handles, integrated air spoiler, and movable electric sliding door design. In the rear of the car, the through-tail lights adopt a Chinese knot design and are displayed in three dimensions through laser engraving technology, not only improving recognition, but also adding a touch of technological and luxury feel. The length, width, and height of Xia are 5145*1970*1805mm, and the wheelbase is as long as 3045mm.

According to the on-site introduction, in terms of the interior, the new car will use a new generation of cockpit, equipped with a large-sized floating central control screen, and it is expected to provide a co-pilot entertainment screen, wireless mobile phone charging, electric air outlets and other functions. The new car will adopt a three-row seven-seat layout of 2+2+3. In terms of intelligence, it is expected to be equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, and equipped with a high-performance chip.

BYD Xia is the first mid-to-large-sized MPV in the Wang Dynasty family to adopt the fifth-generation DM technology, built on the new generation of plug-in hybrid whole vehicle platform. Finally, Xia is built based on the latest version of C-NCAP five-star safety standards, which is one of the most stringent standards in the automotive industry, covering passive safety, active safety, and three-electrical safety. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with a Yun-Nail-C intelligent damping body control system, which further enhances the vehicle's handling and stability through adaptive working condition adjustment. Whether for city commuting or long-distance travel, BYD Xia can easily cope with various road conditions and driving needs with its excellent acceleration performance and power response.

The launch of BYD Xia not only marks the beginning of BYD's new journey in the MPV market, but also shows BYD's deep understanding and prospective planning for future travel. As a flagship MPV model that integrates technology, platform, safety, design, space, and intelligence into one, BYD Xia, with its outstanding product strength and comprehensive competitive advantages, has gained very high attention. In the future, with the official launch and sale of BYD Xia in the global market, it is believed that it will bring a disruptive new travel experience to more users.
