At present, BYD Auto has launched four major brands including BYD, DENZA, Fangchengbao, and Yangwang. The product prices range from RMB million-level luxury to below RMB 100,000, and many products dominate the submarket of Chinese passenger cars.
On May 5, BYD (002594) revealed in its April production and sales brief that the sales of new energy vehicles in April reached 313,200 units, an increase of 49% from 210,300 units in the same period last year. In March this year, BYD's sales were stable at 302.4 thousand units.

In terms of the whole year, from January to April, BYD's cumulative sales reached 939,500 units, a year-on-year increase of 23.24%.
BYD's overseas sales are still very dazzling. In April, overseas sales were 41,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 176.6%, and the annual accumulation reached 138,900 units.

Furthermore, at the Beijing Auto Show, BYD Qin L, Seal 06 DM-i, Sea Lion 07 EV, Yangwang U7 and OCEAN-M and other new models made their debut. With the anticipated launch of more new cars, BYD's product lineup will be more complete. According to the previous plan, BYD's target for 2024 is set between 4.5 to 5 million units, which is 1.5 to 2 million more than the target of 3 million units in 2023. As for whether the launch of more new cars and the acceleration of overseas market layout can bring sales growth to BYD, let's wait and see.
