As the Beijing Auto Show is about to kick off, our forward team successfully photographed the Xiaomi SU7 around the exhibition hall. The car was launched on March 28, with three models released, with a price range of RMB 216,900-229,900. During the Beijing Auto Show, it will be unveiled to the public, and more information about sales, delivery, and new plans will be announced.





In addition, Xiaomi auto official also announced the lock order volume of Xiaomi SU7 today. As of April 20, it has exceeded 70,000 vehicles. Lei Jun, founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, said: We are currently working hard to expand production capacity. The annual delivery target will exceed 100,000 vehicles. The original plan was to begin delivery of the standard version and the Max at the end of April, which has been advanced to April 18.



Looking back at the Xiaomi SU7, it is built on the Xiaomi car Modena platform architecture, offering choices of rear-drive electric motor and dual electric motor four-wheel-drive models, positioning as a mid-size and large sedan, measuring 4997/1963/1455mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. The exterior adopts a coupe-style body design with a low drag coefficient of up to 0195Cd and offers a choice of 9 car paint colors including Bay blue, Dawn Purple, Olive Green, Grey, Meteor Blue, Cambrian Grey, Diamond Black, Lava Orange and Pearl White.



The interior is simple and luxurious, equipped with a 16.1-inch 3K resolution central control screen, with the PengPai OS system, built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, supporting voice control by Xiao Ai Classmate, five-tone voice interaction and AI big model empowerment. At the same time, the Xiaomi SU7 offers four optional interior color schemes: Galaxy Grey, Twilight Red, Obsidian Black, and Misty Purple.



In terms of intelligent driving, the Xiaomi SU7 is fitted with an in-house developed full-stack intelligent driving technology, possessing advanced technologies such as zoom-adjustable BEV, large road model, and high-resolution network occupancy. In terms of hardware, it will host 1 laser radar, 11 high-definition cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, a total of 29 smart driving sensors to jointly complete the perception of the surrounding environment. In addition, it is equipped with two Nvidia Orin-X chips, with a total computing power of 508TOPS, with high-speed navigation, one-click valet parking, and intelligent parking assistance as standard features across the board.



In terms of power, Xiaomi SU7 offers single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive options. The single-motor model has a maximum power of 220 kilowatts (299 horsepower) and a peak torque of 400 Newton meters. Its acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.28 seconds and the top speed is 210 km/h. The dual-motor version has a front motor with a maximum power of 220 kilowatts and a rear motor with a maximum power of 275 kilowatts. The system's combined power is 495 kilowatts (673 horsepower) and its peak torque is 838 Newton meters. Equipped with Boost mode, it provides an instantaneous acceleration of 0.95g, with an acceleration time of just 2.78 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, an acceleration time from 0 to 200 km/h is 10.67 seconds, and the top speed can reach 265 km/h. In addition, with the support of Brembo four-piston brake calipers, the braking distance from 100 to 0 km/h is only 33.3 meters.


In terms of battery life, different specifications are equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack (BYD) from Xiangyang Frady and a ternary lithium battery pack from Ningde Times. The battery capacities are 73.6 kilowatt-hours, 94.3 kilowatt-hours, and 101 kilowatt-hours, respectively. The corresponding pure electric range for 73.6 kilowatt-hours is 700 km, for 94.3 kilowatt-hours is 830 km, and for 101 kilowatt-hours is 800 km (all are under the CLTC condition). In addition, the Xiaomi SU7 is equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform and is paired with a Kirin battery from Ningde Era, which can achieve a range of 220 km with a charge of 5 minutes and a range of 510 km with a charge of 15 minutes.


As for the chassis, Xiaomi SU7 comes with an intelligent chassis, with a 50:50 front-rear weight distribution. It features a full aluminum double-ball joint double wishbone rear five-link independent design and is equipped with air suspension, offering 4-level adjustable height and hardness, and continuously adjustable CDC shock absorbers. According to the official statement, the Xiaomi SU7 can adapt to road conditions, aerodynamics, cornering postures, and active side wings. The moose test result is 82 km/h.
