Geely Xingyuan blockbuster release! Independent suspension +500km range to challenge BYD Dolphin

Recently, Geely officially announced more official information about its new all-electric product, the Geely Xingyuan, such as the standard independent suspension, CATL battery, 11-in-1 electric drive and CLTC pure electric range to 500km, etc. From the current positioning of the new car, BYD Dolphin will be its main competitor. The new car has undergone summer high-temperature testing in Turpan, China.

In terms fo the declaration diagram, the front face of the Geely Xingyuan adopts the closed grille often used in electric cars and is equipped with sharply styled headlight groups. The two sides of the lower part adopt double "C" shape diversion grooves. And the car lines are quite smooth, it provides a good visual effect.


Looking from the side of the car, there are obvious lines of the front and rear wheel arches. The new car is equipped with hidden door handles, low resistance wheels and dual-color body, which create a visual effect of a floating roof. In terms of vehicle size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4135mm, 1805mm and 1570mm, with a wheelbase of 2650mm.

In terms of the rear, the new car adopts a relatively simple design style, the shape of the headlights echoes the front face, and the middle car model is the same as the Panda model in English. According to the declaration catalog, the new car will offer multiple wheel hub options for consumers to choose from, and there will be a monocular camera, which is expected to support some driving auxiliary functions.

According to official news, Geely Xingyuan will be built on a new platform, with independent suspension as standard for the whole series. And it will also be equipped with Aegis short knife battery, 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive, CATL battery, Flyme Auto smart cockpit, etc. In terms of power, according to previous declaration information, the car will offer two power options based on different configurations in the future, with maximum power of 58kW and 85kW respectively. And the pure electric range of CLTC is about 500km.
