【Toyota】Recently, Nissan announced the completely new pure electric compact car Micra on March 26. François Bailly, European Product Director of Nissan, believes that the main obstacle to the popularization of electric vehicles is the price, while as Nissan's entry-level electric vehicle, the price of Micra is affordable, but the specific price has not yet been revealed.

The design of the Micra is mainly led by Nissan's European Design Center in London, while the production is handled by alliance partner Renault at its Douai factory in France. It's noteworthy that Micra will share the CMF - BEV platform and technical architecture with the Renault 5.

In terms of power and range, Nissan confirmed that Micra will provide two battery versions, 40kWh and 52kWh, with the maximum range of the 52kWh version expected to be approximately more than 400 kilometers. Nissan has not yet announced the specific power parameters of the Micra. However, referring to the standard version of the Renault 5 which provides two versions of 118 horsepower and 148 horsepower, it is very likely that the power parameters of the Micra will be similar to it.

Some industry insiders believe that sharing the CMF - BEV platform with the Renault 5 is one of Nissan's key strategies to make the Micra affordable. By sharing platforms, the cost of R&D can be shared, production efficiency can be improved, thereby making the price more affordable.
Histrocial precedents show that the price of various vehicles of Volkswagen Group of various models under the Volkswagen Group are affordable while ensuring the quality, as they share the MQB platform. Such successful cases make the industry expect that the Nissan Micra will break price barriers through its shared platform.

Many people are paying attention to Micra, believing it will be an important layout of Nissan in the field of electrification. Micra may compete with the best-selling BYD Dolphin. With the influence of the Nissan brand strength and unique features of the product, Micra might be able to capture a portion of Dolphin's market share.

Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.

Why is the Toyota Sienna so popular with so many people?
In Malaysia, most family MPVs choose Toyota Alphard, Vellfire, or Kia Carnival. These models each have their advantages in luxury, space, or brand influence, but models that truly balance large space, multifunctional practicality, fuel efficiency, and reliability are rarely seen.
