Nissan Z Classic Reappearance: The 55th Anniversary Special Edition Sports Car will be launched this fall

Recently, news has been received that Nissan will launch a special edition sports car this fall to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the birth of Nissan Z, but no detailed information about the shape or accessories has been provided yet.

It is speculated that this special edition model may follow the design of the Fairlady Z custom edition that first appeared in Japan last summer, which has a unique retro-style front bumper, improved front grille, and carbon fiber rear spoiler. But it is not clear whether it will be based on the Fairlady Z custom edition design. It is reported that the prototype car has arrived in the United States, and will carry out collision tests on the newly adopted bumper.

According to reports, dealers who have sold at least 10 Zs will receive three special edition models. The current regular NissanZ starts at $42,970 and is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts/406 horsepower) and 350 pound-feet (474 Newton-meters) of torque, which can be linked to a six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed automatic gearbox, both of which drive the rear wheels.
