Paying Tribute to the Classics, Unlocking the Future: Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven Concept Car Debuts at Bangkok Motor Show

The 45th Bangkok International Auto Show will take place from March 27 to April 7, 2024, lasting 12 days. Mercedes-Benz will present a brand new concept car, Vision One-Eleven, to the audience at this motor show.

The design inspiration of Vision One-Eleven originates from the classic Mercedes-Benz C 111 series sports car.

Mercedes-Benz C 111 is a series of experimental sports cars manufactured by Daimler-Benz from 1969 to 1970s. This series of cars was not designed for mass production but as a platform for testing new technologies and design concepts.

The first version of C 111 was completed in 1969 and was exhibited at the Frankfurt International Auto Show (IAA) the same year. The car uses a fiberglass body and a mid-mounted three-rotor direct-injection Wankel engine (codenamed M950F).

In 1970, the second C 111 debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show. The car uses a four-rotor engine with a maximum power of 260 kW (349 hp) and a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Vision One-Eleven combines design inspiration with innovative all-electric drive technology, opening an exciting new chapter for sporty luxury cars. This car's futuristic one-bow appearance is impressive.

This concept car features sleek and flat gull-wing doors. Meanwhile, modern interiors contrast with the flat pixel display that runs through the entire dashboard, which is echoed in the design of the front and rear light strips.

Let us look forward to what the future design of Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven will bring to us. Moreover, the Bangkok International Auto Show is approaching, and we will be on-site to bring more firsthand information.
