On April 17, Exeed officially released the renderings of its first electric MPV, the internally codenamed E08. The concept car will make its debut at the Beijing Auto Show opening on April 25. According to the official statement, the car is created by the styling teams from Exeed Europe and Shanghai, initiating a new chapter in Exeed's "Aesthetics of the Wind" 2.0.

As the first vehicle jointly designed by the Exeed teams from Europe and Shanghai, E08 continues the design language of the "Aesthetics of the Wind" and progresses based on this. Adopting the One Box integrated design concept, it displays a very trendy and imposing front face which the official name is "Phoenix Feather Butterfly Face". This design, which brings the beauty of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly into an elegant butterfly face, is inspired by the Exeed star era series "Cyber Butterfly" family design. The design inspiration for the front grill comes from the Western luxury chandelier.

Besides, the double L-shaped headlights at the front and rear are the crowning touch of Exeed E08. Their unique and trendy design is inspired by wind tunnel experiments. When lit, it shows a "wind dual-wing" lighting effect, upscale and highly recognizable.

The side of the car body has a subtle waistline, inspired by the infinitely extended horizon seen from the astronaut's perspective. At the same time, its shape is simple and pure, expected to have a good drag coefficient. The design inspiration for its hub comes from the oriental aesthetics of symmetry, where two squares overlap to form eight corners, implying that the ride is stable and the wisdom travels in all directions. It's worth mentioning that the tailgate of the Exeed E08 can open directly to the third row, maximizing the convenience for passengers to get in and out.

According to previous news, the Exeed E08 is positioned as a flagship MPV for luxurious comfort, with a length of up to 5.2 meters. It may provide pure electric and extended-range hybrid systems, with an expected price of about 400,000 to 500,000 yuan, and is expected to officially go on sale in the second half of this year.
