On August 1, the 2025 BYD Seagull officially went on sale in China, launching three models with prices ranging from 6.98 to 8.58 ten thousand RMB, consistent with the old model. As a modified model, the new BYD Seagull mainly upgrades the details of the appearance design, comfort configuration, etc., such as changing the tail mark to the "BYD" LOGO, upgrading to the ice crystal dynamic wheel hub; upgrading the interior top fabric, easier to care for; and adding front row charging ports, intelligent power on and off functions. In terms of endurance, the CLTC pure electric range provides options of 305km and 405km.

In terms of appearance, the 2025 BYD Seagull overall continues the old model, mainly changing the tail mark to a "BYD" LOGO that echoes the front face character mark, with a simple and unified visual effect. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 3780/1715/1540mm, and the wheelbase is 2500mm.

In terms of interior, the overall layout has not changed. It is still equipped with a 7-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating central control screen, and equipped with a DiLink intelligent vehicle system. The changes are in the materials used. The interior top fabric of all models is upgraded to an easy-to-care woven fabric, which has a better texture and is more durable. At the same time, the new dune pink interior is upgraded to a pure color design, which is more harmonious visually.

In terms of configuration, the 2025 BYD Seagull series adds front row Type A+C charging ports, and the power of the Type-C charging port reaches 60W. At the same time, intelligent power on and off functions are added to the whole series. In addition, the free version and the flying version are equipped with front seat heating, six-way power adjustment of the driver's seat, and the 2025 BYD Seagull also optimizes the design of the headlight group, horn, and air conditioning.

In terms of power, BYD Seagull is built based on e platform 3.0 technology, and the whole system is equipped with a maximum power of 55 kW front single motor system, the peak torque is 135N·m, the official 0-50km/h acceleration time is 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 130km/h. In terms of battery life, the new car provides a capacity of 30.08 KWH and 38.88 KWH lithium iron phosphate blade battery pack, CLTC pure battery life corresponding to 305km and 405km, support a maximum of 40 kW charging power, SOC 30%-80% only 30 minutes.
