On March 4, the BYD Yuan PLUS Honor Edition was officially launched in China, offering a lineup of 5 models with an official price range of 119,800 to 147,800 RMB (approximately 596,000 to 735,800 Thai Baht). The upgrades in the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition include the addition of a Black Knight-themed exterior and interior, along with enhanced intelligent voice continuous calling functionality. As known in the Chinese market, the Yuan PLUS is equivalent to the familiar ATTO3. Let's explore the changes in this newly launched vehicle in the Chinese market.
What are the changes in the new car?
In terms of appearance, the Yuan PLUS Honor version follows the aesthetics of the tide run Longyan. The new vehicle is equipped with intelligent features such as the DiPilot smart driving assistance system and VTOL mobile charging station, which provides a more convenient and comfortable travel experience.
In terms of power, the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition is equipped with an eight-in-one electric powertrain. The permanent magnet synchronous electric motor has a total power of 150 kW, a peak torque of 310 N·m, and an official acceleration time of 7.3 seconds per hundred kilometers. The new vehicle comes with a standard wide-temperature-range efficient heat pump system and an industry-first battery pack with direct cooling and heating technology. The lithium iron phosphate battery is available in two capacities: 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh. The CLTC pure electric range is 430 km and 510 km, respectively, and the car supports both fast charging and slow charging functions.
