The upgrades in the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition include the addition of a Black Knight-themed exterior and interior, along with enhanced intelligent voice continuous calling functionality. As known in the Chinese market, the Yuan PLUS is equivalent to the familiar ATTO3. Let's explore the changes in this newly launched vehicle in the Chinese market.

What are the changes in the new car?

In terms of appearance, the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition continues the trendsetting dragon face aesthetic, featuring sharp and upright lines, and a robust and athletic posture, exuding a fashionable and sporty atmosphere that aligns with the aesthetic preferences of young consumers. The design incorporates chrome decorative strips, and personalized wheel hubs, providing a high level of recognition. The new model introduces a new exterior color called "Black Knight," a deep and powerful black exterior reminiscent of a night highlight, brimming with sharpness and vitality.

In terms of interior design, the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition introduces a brand-new black interior based on the current design. The overall effect is exceptionally cool and stylish, highlighting a sense of sportiness and vitality, catering perfectly to the aesthetic preferences of young users.

In terms of intelligence, the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition is equipped with the DiLink Intelligent Connectivity System. It has also upgraded its intelligent voice continuous calling feature, allowing multiple interactions with just one wake-up. This enables seamless and efficient execution of commands through continuous dialogue with the system, enhancing overall convenience and usability.

The Yuan PLUS Honor Edition is also built on the BYD e-platform 3.0, featuring blade batteries in all models. The battery pack serves as both an energy body and a structural component, forming a safety framework with a high-strength body. The new vehicle is equipped with intelligent features such as the DiPilot smart driving assistance system and VTOL mobile charging station, providing a more convenient and comfortable travel experience.

In terms of power, the Yuan PLUS Honor Edition is equipped with an eight-in-one electric powertrain. The permanent magnet synchronous electric motor has a total power of 150 kW, a peak torque of 310 N·m, and an official acceleration time of 7.3 seconds per hundred kilometers. The new vehicle comes with a standard wide-temperature-range efficient heat pump system and an industry-first battery pack with direct cooling and heating technology. The lithium iron phosphate battery is available in two capacities: 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh. The CLTC pure electric range is 430 km and 510 km, respectively, and the car supports both fast charging and slow charging functions.
