The new Geely Boyue is on the market, when will the X70 be updated?

On June 27, the new Boyue from Geely was officially launched. The new car comes in four models, with the official price range from 92,800 to 118,800 RMB (≈RM 60-77k). And the new car essentially continues the design style of the Boyue COOL, only renamed to Boyue. In addition, the new car offers more color choices for both interior and exterior, and some adjustments to the configuration have also been made.

The new Boyue inherits the "Starburst Vision" design aesthetics of the previous Boyue COOL. The car uses a lot of stiff line design, which looks very young and dynamic. The front end design is also impressive, with a three-dimensional design of the front grille with angular diffusion and coupled with aurora LED light groups, giving the front face a strong impact.

From the side, the car body has straight waistlines running through the front and back like the tide, and the smooth lines outline a dynamic posture for the vehicle. Coupled with the down-pressed back roof, the whole car looks more youthful and sporty. Notably, the length/width/heights of the new Boyue are 4510/1865/1650mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2701mm. In addition, the actual car model pictured has black five-spoke rims, and both the front and rear wheels have red brake calipers.

The body integrates crossover style, and the top of the D-pillar looks extremely sporty. The tail adopted super long digital neon LED tail lights, which gives it a high-tech feeling and unique recognition. The top of the vehicle body also has a segmented rear spoiler.

In terms of interior decor, the new Boyue also continues the previous design, and it adds aurora purple color scheme (the exterior also adds the same color scheme) and Altai green color scheme, which looks very personalized. In terms of technology, it continues to be equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD panel and a 13.2-inch 2K center control screen, matched with Galaxy OS 2.0 vehicle system. The entry-level model is equipped with remote start, automatic headlights, electric sunroof, rearview mirror heating, automatic parking, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, etc. And the top-of-the-line models also support wireless charging for mobile phones.

The new car has suede-like material seats. The front seats have electric memory and heating functions, and it is also equipped with a 1.12 square meter panoramic sunroof and 72-color digital emotional ambient light. In terms of space, the official said that there are 39 storage spaces in the new Boyue, and the trunk volume reaches 571L.

In terms of power, Boyue is equipped with the new generation Geely Jingqin 1.5TD four-cylinder direct injection engine, with a maximum power of 133kW (181PS) /5500rpm, a maximum torque of 290N·m/2000-3500rpm. And it is matched with a 7DCT wet dual clutch transmission, the fastest 0-100km/h acceleration is 7.9s, and the lowest fuel consumption (WLTC) per 100 kilometers is 6.29L.
