On July 11, ZEEKR X officially launched in the Thai market. For most Thai consumers, ZEEKR may not be well known at present, it is a luxury electric vehicle brand from China, which belongs to the high-end electrified vehicle brand under GEELY.

Although ZEEKR is still relatively unfamiliar to Thai consumers, as early as March 25 this year, the right-hand drive version of ZEEKR X made its global debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand and began pre-sales. At the same time, ZEEKR also plans to open car showrooms in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya and other cities in Thailand, which means that ZEEKR has officially launched its Southeast Asia strategy.
ZEEKR is a very young electric vehicle brand, it is supported by the Chinese electric vehicle brand GEELY, and just went public in May. ZEEKR X is based on the SEA-VAST architecture and positioned as a compact pure electric SUV that offers both four-seat and five-seat models option.

The ZEEKR X model is 4432mm long, 1836mm wide, 1566mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2750mm. In terms of appearance, the ZEEKR X was created by a team led by ZEEKR's global chief designer Stefan Sielaff. The car uses a no-door handle design, a frameless door design, a frameless rearview mirror design, and a hidden outer water cut, which is neat and clean and achieves an improvement in aesthetic design and aerodynamics. ZEEKR X adopts a narrow-to-wide wheelbase design to enhance the driving experience and create more leg space for rear passengers. It is worth mentioning that the frameless rearview mirror that the car is equipped with, which is extremely futuristic and reflects a simplistic futuristic design sense.


The ZEEKR X interior is designed in a minimalist style. The overall tone is mainly gray, and at the same time, it is spliced with black, giving the whole person a calm and low-key feeling. Additionally, there is a white matching colour, pairing to give a bright feeling. The cockpit is extremely encapsulated, but it does not give the feeling of insufficient space, and the overall riding experience is quite comfortable. In terms of intelligence, as the electric car brand of GEELY, ZEEKR has the smart devices that current market electric cars have, including smart central control large screen and intelligent auxiliary devices.


In terms of power, ZEEKR X is equipped with a ternary lithium-ion battery, and offers a choice of single- motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive models, where the single-motor model has a maximum power of 200kW, and the dual-motor model adds a maximum power of 115kW motor to the front axle. The officials say the four-wheel drive model will join the 3-second club.
