On August 8, the 2025 BYD Seal officially went on the market on August 8. The configuration model and price range for the new car launch are not yet clear. As a remodeled model, the new Seal will be built based on BYD's latest e-platform 3.0 Evo, with standard SiC silicon carbide, 800V high voltage platform and twelve-in-one electric power assembly, and is equipped with YunNian-C intelligent damping body control system. The side of the car adopts a fastback style and replaces with a new style of wheel hubs, resulting in a more sporty visual effect. In addition, the tail logo has been changed from "BUILD YOUR DREAMS" to "BYD".

In terms of body size, the new Seal model is 4800/1875/1460mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, which remains the same as the old model, but it is somewhat larger than the Tesla Model 3.
