Android Auto 14.2 Beta Code Reveals AR Glasses Navigation Support

[PCauto] The tech media outlet 9to5Google discovered through analysis of Android Auto's 14.2 beta version data that Google has added new code fields for direct integration with AR glasses, including "Glasses Options" and "Start Navigation in AR Glasses.

This technical details showed that this feature can project Google Maps' navigation information in real-time to the user's field of view, such as turn directions, lane-by-lane guidance, and live traffic conditions. This kind of AR navigation can significantly reduce driver‘s distraction caused by frequent glances at the central display, thereby enhancing road safety.

At present, this feature has not been officially released, but the completeness of the code - especially the inclusion of versions in multiple languages, including Hindi - indicates that its development has reached a mature stage.
