【PCauto】Dongfeng's new energy vehicle brand Nammi is set to officially enter the Southeast Asian automobile market this September. The brand's two flagship models, Nammi 06 SUV and 007 sedan, will make their debut in Kuala Lumpur, with sales networks to be established through a well-known local dealer group. Nammi will be another Chinese EV manufacturer entering Malaysia, besides BYD and GWM.
Nammi 06: Thoughtful Cabin Design
Nammi 06 is a compact SUV measuring 4,306×1,868×1,645 mm and is equipped with a 120kW FWD system. Its 49kWh LFP battery pack delivers a CLTC-rated range of 401 km, supporting fast charging that replenishes the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Nammi 06 provides up to 35 storage compartments throughout the cabin, meticulously designed for everyday scenarios. For instance, the dashboard includes a storage platform tailored for drivers who rely on phone navigation or enjoy snacks where phones, snacks, and other small items can be placed conveniently within reach. The unique curved design prevents items from sliding off.

The center console boasts an oversized open storage space, easily accommodating handbags, keys, eyeglass cases, and more. The three hidden cup holders in the front row's central console are very practical: they can be fully concealed to maintain a clean and sleek interior, and can be extended when needed. Whether holding a coffee cup, milk tea, or a water bottle, the holders provide excellent stability. The 7.8L glove compartment provides dedicated iPad storage and a wall-mounted clothing hanger, catering to diverse storage needs.

Additional compartments on the door panels and C-pillar trim provide storage spaces for water bottles, phones, and other personal items, ensuring every small belonging has its own place in the cabin.

The 007: Built for Driving Enthusiasts
The premium-oriented 007 sedan is equipped with a chassis professionally tuned by a championship-winning racing team, paired with organ-style accelerator pedals to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. In the Chinese domestic market, it offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrain options.

The pure electric version provides single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor variant offers different power calibrations, with maximum power outputs of 160 kW and 200 kW, achieving official 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 6.8 seconds and 5.8 seconds, respectively. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive Max version delivers a maximum power of 400 kW, sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. With a maximum CLTC-rated range of 650 km, it just takes 16 minutes to be recharged from 30% to 80% .

The range-extended model is equipped with a 1.5L range extender and a rear-mounted single motor, producing a maximum power of 160 kW. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, with a CLTC fuel consumption as low as 4.2L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode. Offering a CLTC pure electric range of 230 km and a combined range of 1,230 km, it can be recharged from 30% to 80% in just 12 minutes.

Affordable Price: The Key to Nammi 06 and 007's Success
According to relevant dealers, the starting price of Nammi 06 is expected to have a starting price of RM 98,800, approximately 18% lower than its competitor, the BYD Atto 3 (around RM 120,000). The 007 sedan will start at RM 118,800, with the first 1,000 pre-order customers receiving complimentary home charging station installation.
For after-sales services, Dongfeng plans to establish three experience centers and 15 service outlets in major cities of Malaysia, offering an 8-year or 160,000-km battery warranty. The company will also collaborate with local charging operators to provide exclusive benefits for consumers.
