On April 16, Honda R&D Industries (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Honda) held a new electric brand launch event with the theme of "Stimulating True Self" in China.

At this launch event, Honda officially released a new electric brand "Ye" for the Chinese market. Three new models of the "Ye" brand "Ye S7", "Ye P7", and "Ye GTCONCEPT" were first introduced worldwide. Among them, "Ye S7" and "Ye P7" are the first models of the "Ye" brand, and "Ye GTCONCEPT" is the second model. The first sales will begin at the end of 2024.

"Ye" means "Bright and Shiny", aiming to "enable drivers to fully enjoy the pleasure of driving, unleash the desires deep in their hearts, let everyone's personality shine, and stimulate the essence.” "Ye" brand takes the lead in using the new "H" logo exclusively for new generation pure electric vehicles, adopts the new intelligent and efficient pure electric "W" architecture (Architecture W), and plans to launch 6 new "Ye" brand models by 2027.
These new models will be exhibited at the upcoming 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), representing Honda's commitment to electrifying its product line in China. Although the current e: N series cars are already on sale there, the Ye series aims to further enrich Honda's electric vehicle products.

The Ye P7 and Ye S7 are the first models of the Ye series that offers rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options. These ultra-compact SUVs, allegedly "Ye S7" and "Ye P7" incorporate Honda SENSING 360+ and Honda CONNECT 4.0 into the intelligent digital cockpit, combined with advanced active AI technology to provide consumers with a safe and secure driving experience, as well as thoughtful and meticulous personalized services.

The P7 and S7 models will be launched for sale at the end of 2024.
Meanwhile, the Ye GT Concept was designed as a luxury touring car, which maintains a "low and wide" design style. Details of the power system have not been released (by the way, those of P7 and S7 are also not released). Still, Honda has confirmed that the driver's seat adopts a unique "racing cockpit" design, which enhances the sporty atmosphere, stimulates driving passion, and creates a "better to drive" value experience. Huawei's light field screen is first mounted on the co-pilot of the car, creating a "more interesting" high-quality private space through the linkage of sound, light, and aroma equipment.

The mass-production model of the Ye GT Concept is expected to be launched at the end of 2025.
