BMW Hybrid V8 debuts at MOTOR EXPO 2024! Capable of outputting 727Ps horsepower！

Japanese hybrid technology tends to be fuel-efficient, while German hybrid technology leans towards power. BMW premiered the BMW M5 hybrid car at MOTOR EXPO 2024, which is the first hybrid car of the M brand.
The BMW M5 (G90) power system comprises a 4.4T V8 twin-turbo engine and a high-performance electric motor. This power system comes from the high-performance hybrid technology of the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race BMW M Hybrid V8 racing car, with a maximum horsepower of 727Ps and a maximum torque of 1000N·m.
The 8-speed manual and automatic transmission is coupled with the M xDrive all-wheel drive system, allowing the M5 to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds! The top speed is 305km/h.
The M5 debuted at the MOTOR EXPO 2024 is a PHEV model with a battery pack capacity of 18.6kWh, a pure electric range of 40 kilometers, and also supports AC charging, with a maximum charging power of 7.4kW.
In terms of appearance size, compared with the previous generation M5, the body height of the M5 debuted this time has been reduced by 18mm and the width has been increased by 67mm. It is equipped with front 285/40 ZR20 and rear 295/35 ZR21 tires, bringing more stable driving performance.
To complement this powerful power system, the new M5 is also equipped with front double wishbones and rear five-link independent suspension, which possess the function of adaptive adjustment of hardness and softness, balancing performance and comfort; the rear wheels can achieve a 1.5° rotation, making it very agile to drive.
