According to Chinese media reports, spy shots of the DENZA sports car have been exposed. This car was originally the production version of the FangChengBao Super 9, but it has now been moved to the DENZA brand. The price is expected to rise, with the hardtop version being released first, followed by the convertible version. It is expected to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in China. The new car features a four-seat layout and performance comparable to the Porsche 911, but its price may exceed 300,000 RMB.

From the spy photos, the DENZA test vehicle features the brand’s signature camouflage stickers, and the car is quite compact, occupying only a small portion of the platform. It adopts a two-door design with a low, streamlined body, large wheels, and performance tires. The headlights are also designed with a streamlined shape, and the doors are expected to have a frameless design for easier roof retraction.

The FangChengBao Bao9 was released in April this year and features a unique Speedster design with an open-top layout. However, the new model has completely overturned the previous design, and we look forward to the actual car giving us more surprises.

BYD launched a hardtop convertible sports car, the S8, in 2009. Its dimensions are 4490/2020/1405mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2520mm. It features a fully recycled two-stage folding hardtop, which can open and close in 25 seconds. The roof operation is electronically controlled with hydraulic power.
