【PCauto】TQ WULING has officially announced that the all-new Bingo EV will make its public debut on August 3, 2025, during the “KL Car-Free Morning” event, held from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Menara DBKL 1 in Kuala Lumpur.
Targeted at the younger market, this five-door hatchback will serve as the event’s lead launch vehicle, kicking off the green mobility parade at 6:45 AM and marking the start of the eco-friendly initiative.
The event will also feature Zumba fitness sessions and interactive games, offering the public a chance to get up close with the Bingo EV and experience its appeal firsthand. TQ WULING stated that unveiling the model in the KL Car-Free Morning is a strategic move to reinforce the Bingo EV’s market positioning as an affordable electric mobility option.
Blending retro and modern styling, the Bingo EV is scheduled to launch officially in Malaysia in Q4 2025, with an expected starting price of under RM100,000.
Key Highlights of the WULING Bingo EV
The features of this new car include: dual-tone exterior with a fashionable X-shaped LED light cluster and diamond-patterned grille; compact dimensions (3950 × 1708 × 1580 mm) and a tight 4.6-meter turning radius, ideal for navigating narrow city streets; spacious interior with a 2560 mm wheelbase; dual 10.25-inch screens and a rotary gear selector; rear seats can be folded down to offer up to 790 liters of cargo space.
The Bingo EV is equipped with a high-efficiency lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering IP67-rated water and dust resistance. For the Southeast Asian market, the main variant features a 31.9 kWh battery that delivers a 333 km driving range based on the CLTC standard. It is paired with a 50 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, enabling a top speed of 120 km/h.
The EV also boasts impressive charging performance: DC fast charging replenishes the battery from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes, while AC slow charging takes approximately 5.5 to 9.5 hours for a full charge.
In terms of safety, the Bingo EV comes standard across all variants with ABS + EBD, electronic stability control, and dual front airbags. Higher-spec variants are further equipped with adaptive cruise control and an automatic emergency braking system. The model also features MAGIC Battery intelligent thermal management technology, which has maintained a zero fire incident record to date.
On the tech front, the Bingo EV is marked by wireless smartphone connectivity, keyless entry, and a 6-speaker audio system, catering to the digital lifestyle of younger users.
The Bingo EV has already gained a positive reputation in markets such as the Indonesia and the Philippines. For the Malaysian market, local production will be carried out at the Segambut assembly plant, helping to further control costs and enhance market competitiveness.
