On April 28, the CEO of Li Auto Li Xiang posted a message to thank Lei Jun on social media: "Thank you for Lei Jun's recognition of the L6 product, and on the occasion of breaking through 700,000 likes, I must give a Li Auto L6 Max as a token of appreciation. "

The Beijing Auto Show was held once again after four years. Xiaomi's car made its debut, which became a highlight of this show. The crowds was surging at the scene, and the Xiaomi car booth was crowded. As the soul person of Xiaomi car-making, Lei Jun also became the star focus of this auto show.
That morning, Lei Jun reported on the latest ordering and delivery situation of SU7 at the press conference held at the auto show. They announced Xiaomi Car's sales target for 2024, and responded to issues such as market delivery services. Later, he rushed to the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference for a speech. And in the afternoon, Lei Jun returned to the auto show to start visiting the exhibits.

Wherever Lei Jun went, all kinds of media and spectators gathered. Together with Wang Chuanfu from BYD, Jack Wey from GWM, Zhu Ronghua from Changan, etc., they experienced the model cars in their respective booths. In addition, he also went to Li Auto, NIO, BAIC, and other booths.
At the Li Auto booth, Li Xiang explained the L6 to Lei Jun and invited Lei Jun to experience the car. After Lei Jun entered the car, Li Xiang stood outside the car and introduced him to the various functions and features of the car. Afterward, Lei Jun posted a video on TikTok, highly praising the performance of the L6 at the Beijing Auto Show, and said that if the video got more than 500,000 likes, he would purchase the L6. The video eventually received 700,000 likes, which reflected the high public attention to Lei Jun and the L6, thus leading to Li Xiang's response.

Although Li Xiang is grateful for Lei Jun's generosity, Lei Jun also emphasized on social media that he still decided to purchase an L6 Max to personally experience and express support for this product. Lei Jun said, "I think buying it myself expresses more support", and then went to the dealership to order a green pearl paint with a white interior L6 Max.
It is known that Li Auto L6 was officially launched in China on April 18. It has Pro and Max models priced at RMB 249,800 and 279,800 respectively, which is Li Auto's first model below RMB 300,000.

It has been 57 days since Li Xiang's last post on social media, which shows how seriously he took this car-giving incident. On social media, he not only expressed his gratitude to Lei Jun, but also mentioned the help his team received from Lei Jun during the public opinion crisis at Li Auto MEGA.
Looking back, these two Chinese entrepreneurs, Lei Jun, and Li Xiang, have already established a deep exchange. In 2022, Lei Jun once asked Li Xiang for advice on Xiaomi's car-making. Li Xiang's advice was that Lei Jun must throw himself wholeheartedly into the car-making business, and no one can replace his role. This advice shows Li Xiang's respect for Lei Jun and his deep understanding and firm belief in car manufacturing.
