Overview of the Series

The Mazda 2 mid-range variant is a relatively low-priced model, comparable to the Honda Jazz, Perodua Myvi, and Proton Iriz.

Power System

Powered by a Skyactiv-G 1.5 litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, it can produce 115 PS and 148 Nm of power. It takes 10.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100km/h, and the 0-100-0 km/h test time averages 14.7 seconds. It uses a traditional torque converter automatic gearbox for smooth driving.

Interior Configuration

The car has a carefully crafted cockpit, but it can be seen that it is a lower configuration version, such as the lack of a leather steering wheel, mostly made of hard plastic. Equipped with comfortable fabric seats, there are 4 speakers in the car and 2 USB ports only for mobile phone charging.

Safety System

In terms of safety equipment, compared with the same price Honda Jazz E variant, the Honda Jazz E variant has 4 safety airbags, and the Toyota Yaris 1.5E has 7 safety airbags.

Driving Performance

The Mazda 2 performs well in this regard, with good handling, precise steering, good tailing, and equipped with Mazda's innovative GVC technology, which enhances ride comfort and cornering ability.

Riding Comfort

GVC technology significantly improves the riding comfort of the Mazda 2 compared to the previous revision, although the suspension is slightly harder than the competition to optimize cornering performance, it can run smoothly at high speeds and in congested traffic.
