The 2025 BYD SONG PLUS DM-i is coming? Official images revealed!

Recently, BYD officially released the official images of the 2025 SONG PLUS DM-i. The new car has subtle adjustments in interior and exterior design compared to the old model, and adopts the fifth generation DM technology. In addition, the new car will be launched on July 25.

In terms of design, the new car largely continues the design style of the on-market model, and on this basis, it adds a brand-new 19-inch aluminum alloy low-resistance wheel hub. In addition, the tail logo supports lighting, cancels the "BUILD YOUR DREAMS" logo at the rear, and changes to the "BYD" logo.

The size of the new car is consistent with the current model, the length, width, and height are 4775mm/1890mm/1670mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765mm, which is still positioned as a compact SUV.

The 2025 SONG PLUS DM-i is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, the maximum power of the 1.5L engine is 74kW, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 160kW. Compared with the current model, the engine power is reduced by 7lkW, and the maximum power of the drive motor is increased by 15kW.

In terms of endurance, the new SONG PLUS DM-i will offer optional lithium-ion phosphate blade battery packs with capacities of 18.316 kWh and 26.593 kWh, with pure electric WLTC working condition mileage of 91km and 128km respectively, an increase of 6km and 12km compared to existing models. In addition, this car has a WLTC condition electric loss fuel consumption as low as 4.95L/100km, and the current model is at least 5.3L/100km.
