2025 Nissan Qashqai? It's set to make its first appearance on April 17!

Nissan officially released the first trailer for the new generation Qashqai, revealing many upgrades to the vehicle's exterior and interior. This comprehensively updated compact SUV is scheduled to debut in Europe on April 17, and in the following months, other regional markets including Australia are expected to follow suit.

The current third generation Qashqai on sale in the European market was launched in 2021. As a globally best-selling crossover SUV from Nissan, it now welcomes its mid-term remodel. Although the Nissan official website does not specifically indicate the name of the model to be launched on April 17, from the preview picture, it can be seen that the model is Qashqai, displaying a well-known SUV silhouette.

The main changes in the design of this Qashqai remodel are focused on the front of the vehicle. The newly designed front presents a completely new look, featuring a larger radiator grille and sharper left and right headlight groups. At the same time, the front bumper has been greatly redesigned, with larger triangular air intakes added to enhance the visual three-dimensional effect.

Although the light inside the cockpit in the preview is dim, the original design of the digital instrument panel and steering wheel can still be identified. It is reported that the new model will be equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 9-inch central control information entertainment display, and a 10.8-inch head-up display, which is expected to present a more innovative graphical interface. Additionally, the dashboard interior seems to be updated, and significant improvements can be expected in terms of comfort configuration and safety features.

In terms of the power system, it is expected that no major changes will be made, as the current third-generation Nissan Qashqai already offers a variety of choices including a light hybrid power system and a full hybrid power configuration. The entry-level model will be equipped with a 1.3-liter light hybrid power system, which can reach a maximum horsepower of 138. While the flagship e-Power 1.5-liter hybrid power system has a maximum horsepower of 187. As for the pure electric model, Nissan has confirmed that it will launch rear-wheel or four-wheel drive versions equipped with electric motors. In addition, the official has also confirmed that the pure electric version of the Qashqai, built on different electric vehicle-specific platform architectures, will go on sale after 2025.
