Recently, a set of spy photos of the BYD QIN L EV model have been leaked online in China. Previously, only the plug-in hybrid version (DM-i) of the BYD QIN L was launched, with a price of 9.98-13.98 million yuan. According to the BYD's sales strategy for its Dynasty and Ocean series, the BYD QIN in the Ocean series corresponds to the BYD SEAL 06 DM-i model. Although the current spy photos are not very clear, they seem to confirm the existence of this new vehicle. From some details, it appears that the new car might differ significantly from the BYD QIN L DM-i.

The new car's front face may weaken the design of the "big mouth" middle net, but it will still adopt The new model’s front design may reduce the prominence of the "big mouth" grille but will still feature the classic front face of the BYD Dynasty family. The front headlamp design could also see some changes. The overall dimensions of the car are expected to be more compact, likely similar to those of the BYD QIN L DM-i. The door handles of the new car are noticeably different from those of the current BYD QIN L DM-i. Additionally, the proportion and structure are also slightly different, with a more compact front cabin space.

The rear of the vehicle is similar to the through-type taillights used on the BYD QIN L DM-i, but pay attention to the shape of the lights and the position of the turn signals, which are different from those on the BYD QIN L DM-i. This design will be quite different from the previous generation model, the Qin PLUS. The style differences between the plug-in hybrid version and the pure electric version will become increasingly apparent, and the power specifications are currently unknown.
