On the evening of May 9th, according to Chinese automobile blogger Sun Shaojun, the order volume for Xiaomi SU7 has officially exceeded 100,000.

Xiaomi SU7 was launched on the evening of March 28, with three configurations on offer. The standard version is priced at 215,900 RMB, the Pro version is priced at 245,900 RMB, and the Max version is priced at 299,900 RMB. It has been just over 40 days since the launch, and the vehicle received a flurry of orders on the launch night, with more than 50,000 units booked within 27 minutes.

At the inaugural order fulfilling ceremony for Xiaomi SU7 on April 3, Lei Jun announced that more than 100,000 people had placed orders for Xiaomi SU7 in just a few days after its launch, with the amount of locked orders already exceeding 40,000.
On April 25, the 2024 Beijing Auto Show officially kicked off. As a local company with its headquarters and factory in Beijing, this is the first time that Xiaomi has participated in the auto show in three years. On the opening day, the Xiaomi stand was packed with people. Lei Jun stated that as of April 24, the number of locked order for Xiaomi SU7 had exceeded 75723, with 5781 units delivered. In other words, in just 6 days, Xiaomi's order volume increased by more than 1.2 thousand, and the delivery increased by 1,277 units, which is a rapid growth.

At the conference on the same day, Lei Jun candidly stated that Xiaomi SU7 is so popular that all of this year's production capacity has already been sold out.
Official data shows that as of 24:00 on April 30, the number of Xiaomi SU7 orders reached 88,063. Among them, 28% are female car buyers, 29% are BBA car owners, and 52.5% are Apple users. At the same time, Xiaomi Auto is fully expanding its production capacity, accelerating delivery, and ensuring the goal of delivering 100,000 units this year.

From April 30 to May 9, an additional 12,000 units were ordered in just 10 days, enough to prove users' love for the Xiaomi SU7.
From the Xiaomi Auto official mini-program order page, we can see that the current delivery time for the Xiaomi SU7 standard version is estimated to be 29-32 weeks, the delivery time for the SU7 Pro version is 30-33 weeks, and the most popular SU7 Max version is delivered in 34-37 weeks.

For Xiaomi Auto, orders are not a problem, the only thing that may limit sales growth is Xiaomi Auto's production capacity. According to the plan, Xiaomi Auto will build a car factory with an annual output of 300,000 units in two phases. The first phase factory has an annual production capacity of 150,000 units, which was completed in 2023 and is at the uphill phase. And the second phase factory is planned to start construction in 2024 and be completed in 2025. I wonder when Xiaomi SU7 will enter the international market?
