Geely Panda Kart, Urban Electric Micro Kart

On April 30, Panda Kart under Geely Auto started pre-sales with a price of RMB 48,900. It will officially hit the market on May 9.

Geely's Panda Kart is the industry's first "Urban electric microcar." In terms of appearance, the Geely Panda Kart inherits the current body design and mainly incorporates a sportier appearance kit. Its design inspiration stems from a kart, and the shape highly replicates the kart shape in games, which brims with a racing style. Specifically, the new car is outfitted with sportier front and rear surrounds, side skirts, large-sized diffusers, contrast-colored low-drag hubs, and personalized decals.

In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the Geely Panda Kart are 3150/1540/1685mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2015mm. Under the premise of folding the rear seats, it has a super-large load space of up to 800L.

In terms of interior, Geely Panda Kart continues the layout design of the current model, with a simple and fashionable style. It is equipped with an 8-inch floating central control screen and 9.2-inch instrument, and adopts knob-style shifting. In terms of intelligence, the new car can realize deep adaptation of mobile phone and APP through mobile phone interconnection, supports for functions such as wireless screen-casting, imperceptible interconnection, voice control, navigation, music listening, etc. It also supports voice wake-up and remote control via mobile app, including remote vehicle condition query, remote position query, remote locking and unlocking, remote trunk opening, remote air-conditioner opening and closing, and many other functions.

In terms of power, Geely Panda Kart adopts a rear-mounted, rear-wheel drive, and is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 30 kilowatts and peak torque of 110 Newton meters. The top speed can reach 100km. In addition, it offers Normal and Sport two driving modes, and a three-level adjustable energy recovery function that can be easily switched to meet diverse driving needs.

In terms of endurance, the new car is equipped with a 17.03 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, with a pure electric range of 200km under CLTC conditions. In addition, it is also equipped with a class-leading 22 kW DC fast charging and 3.3 kW AC slow charging function, which can charge the power from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.

More than a year after its launch, the Panda family has sold over 130,000 units and has now launched the Panda mini for commuting and the first pure Panda Knight with integrated fast and slow charging at 50,000 yuan.
