Official interior images of the BYD Sealion 05DM-i released, ocean aesthetics upgraded!

On September 11, BYD officially released the interior official map of BYD Sealion 05DM-i model. The new car interior continues the "Marine Aesthetics" design concept, equipped with a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating suspension pad. The new car is positioned as a compact plug-in hybrid SUV and will be equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM technology.

In terms of interior design, BYD Sealion 05DM-i continues the "Marine Aesthetics" design concept. The encircling marine rhythm cabin combined with rich marine elements and matched with dark interiors, creating an atmosphere and stable interior atmosphere. BYD Sealion 05DM-i uses a suspended dashboard, equipped with a full LCD dashboard and a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating suspension pad, built-in BYD DiLink intelligent connection system.

BYD Sealion 05DM-i is equipped with a brand-new flat-bottom four-spoke steering wheel. The shifting area adopts a round design. The crystal gear lever looks very delicate. Around the gear lever are a set of commonly used physical buttons, including start button, electric/hybrid switch, electronic parking brake, volume adjustment, air conditioning control, etc.

The shifting area is equipped with a 50W mobile phone wireless charging slot. In addition, BYD Sealion 05DM-i is also equipped with USB Type A + 60W Type C charging port. Finally, under the "Heart of the Ocean" design, the hollow storage space contains a Type A + 60W Type C charging port.

In terms of seats, the BYD Sealion 05DM-i front row seats adopt an integrated headrest design. The backrest and sides of the seat are semi-barrel-shaped, providing excellent lateral support. Both the driver and co-driver seats are equipped with a multi-directional electric adjustment. The rear seat provides three separate headrests. The Sealion 05DM-i also comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunblind, which effectively blocks infrared and ultraviolet rays.

Like the interior, the shape of the BYD Sealion 05DM-i continues the "Ocean Aesthetic" design concept. The entire vehicle's profile is full and powerfully shaped with the headlights, hubs, and other parts all incorporating ocean elements. Looking at the specific design details, the car's front end features a large grille with chrome trim arranged in a dot matrix on either side. The new style headlights look sharp and simple, and paired with a darkened lamp chamber, they create a deep visual effect. The front of the car also features a streamlined gouge design.



The side of BYD Sealion 05DM-i adopts a floating roof design, and the metal decoration strip around the windows adds a sense of fashion to the whole vehicle. The new car adopts a brand-new five-spoke wheel, the black + silver design has a strong contrast, which looks very dynamic. In terms of vehicle body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4710/1880/1720mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2712mm.
The rear design of BYD Sealion 05DM-i is full of layers. The through-type tail light is highly recognizable when it is lit. The two sides are connected by extremely thin linear light bands, which echo the design of the front face. Finally, the new car is expected to be equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM technology, using a 1.5L engine for PHEV, EHS hybrid system, and power blade battery for PHEV, with a motor power of 120kW.
